providence 0 Posted June 10, 2009 Any advice, doing my first lay this size... 17 in tall by 14 ft wide peice of reflective vinyl onto a huge utility truck. Anyone done a lay like this before? my partner and I are going to have to be on ladders to reach the space. My best ides thus far was to hold the peice up to the truck, level it, and tape verticle in half, then on the right side across the top tape it to secure it, then fold over the vinyl to the middle, peel it off the backing and cut the paper and try to lay that 7ft peice in one go. I am not sure how this is going to work. If anyone has done a lay like this before, let me know how you did it. The two things I am trying to avoid is seaming it, or having to build a makeshift scaffold.... p.s. It's reverse weed, so I cannot just lay it in sections (unless I take a shot at seaming it.)
