GameDemon 0 Posted May 28, 2009 I purchased a pcut and they send me a cd i install and it still has the timer on it everytime i use it, it ads 1 second on to the wait time this is rediculous when you paid for the cutter and the software they need to supply a registration code to remove this or supply you with a program that doesnt require it. BannerJohn 1,324 Posted May 28, 2009 This has been asked before and so far I haven't seen an answer. Maybe someone has figured it out. Option would have been to upgrade and pay extra for other software. The SB is free.

Jay2703 704 Posted May 28, 2009 You could run your cutter on most any computer. Anything within the last 10 years would work.

MacGrafix 5 Posted March 4, 2010 I never had a countdown until I downloaded it to my Windows 7. Now I can't get rid of the thing. I'm not worried about having the full version, I'm just fine with the trial one. I just hate my customer seeing the countdown, makes me look cheap. Anyone know how to get rid of this thing? I am up to like 45 seconds and it's still going up, it adds a second for each time you open it.

MacGrafix 5 Posted March 5, 2010 So, how do I send the donation to get the file? Also, this isn't the UK version is it? I tried that and it completely screwed me up and I had to completely uninstall SB and start all over.

MacGrafix 5 Posted March 12, 2010 I just got the KeyGen and it worked like a dream. Not only did it take out the countdown, it stopped the nag screens and everything. I click on the icon and "bing", it's there. DBTOUTFIT IS A GENIUS!!!!!!
NetherX 0 Posted March 12, 2010 Is he selling legit keys or are you guys paying for pirated keys?
MacGrafix 5 Posted March 12, 2010 It's a keygen for a program that you can no longer register due to the owner/writer passing away. Colorchrome doesn't exist anymore. If they ever come back out (family deal) and release a new SBE, I will gladly pay for my registration. As it stands, it is a fully functioning trial version that adds a second of waiting time everytime you open it, kind of a nag. This makes a bad impression on customers, so the keygen stops it. That's all the keygen does, stops the nagging screens. There is only supply on this forum for SBE, since there is no one in Australia to provide support. Company is closed. Doesn't sound 100% legal to me. Especially since he is charging for it.
MacGrafix 5 Posted March 12, 2010 Well Netherx, if you are not comfortable with it, that's okay. I'm sure he charged the $1.00 for the time it probably took to write it, distribute it (lots of people wanted it). I don't blame him. He should get something for the time and effort. This thing is flawless, legal, and a big help to all of us who use SBE. You have to understand, none of this was done before Jerry died. No one is looking to rip anyone off or do anything illegal. NetherX 0 Posted March 12, 2010 If he wants to do it that is fine. But it is far from legal. You can download Adobe Illustrator CS4 fully functional trial and the only difference between it and the paid version is the NAG that it stops working after 30 days. Removing that NAG would not be legal. Just because the software owner is dead or no longer supports the software does not make it free or public domain freeware. If you guys want to crack it or keygen that is your own business. Just make sure you know this is not legal by any means. PS..the nag was not put there just to be annoying. It was placed there so that you would purchase the software to remove it, not bypass it with a keygen.
dbtoutfit 5 Posted March 12, 2010 What can I say? People have already purchased this software when they purchased their vinyl cutter. If I was trying to make anything out of it I would have it on eBay and all over Google for sale. I only offer it here. Period. I thought it would be one damn sorry thing not to share with others that have no chance EVER in getting support from SBE. I did this to help everyone that purchased a UScutter machine. I filter to check to make sure that at the very least each donation comes from a member of the forum. You are the exact same type of personal that MADE me have to start charging from the get go and host the files on my server, the type of person that will complain till they remove the file from this forum or from rapidshare etc. Truly Sad. Someone will always turn a positive into a negative given the right opportunity I guess. You need to relax. Eric
