pcut no worky

the wife just installed a hp office jet pro 8500.

now thw cutter wont cut.

when i send a job to the cutter it says"cannot open device ,error initializing cutter."

last week before this happened i would send a job to it and it would freeze.i shut down and restart and rest the cutter and it would work.

help please...... asap

Uninstall the HP first to see if that is the case.

Best to use previous installation points Windows creates to go back in time.

Open SignBlazer, then go to Cutter, then Setup, and let me know what you have for the top 2 selections...

the wife just changed the usb port settings and it's workin now.

other problem is ,sign blazer will not download updates.

today this window opened up wanting registration info and codes.

i just closed it then restarted it and reworked the art again.

seems to be doing wierd stuff like that more and more.

any suggestions

The company that designed SB is no longer around... so it will never update again.

Plug the usb cord going to the cutter into your computer, open you device manager to see which port/com it's on, and make the changes the SBE's setup.
