does the vinyl need some sort of transfer tape???

after cutting and image how do you transfer teh image onto the substrate??is their some sort of transfer tape that should go over the image and then you peal off what you will not use and then transfer the image???sorry for the ?jsut new iat it and think i have seen this when i bought my decal for my car window a long time ago it was a white papre like backing.

Yes  you need tranfer tpae, the steps are cut out your graphics, then pull off unwanted areas (known and weeding) then apply your tranfer tape, peel off the backing and apply.
