Go-C Graphics 856 Posted December 8, 2014 Made a few changes to V1.3 one thing I forgot to mention..... in the prices sheet, I have combined sq. ft price of the vinyl and weeding time together... let me know what you think... Sq-Ft-Vinyl-Calculator2.zip Somethings not right. Cast Vinyl is about half the cost of Calender vinyl.
Jtinker101 6 Posted December 8, 2014 will check.. in the pricing sheet, cal is 3.00 sq ft and cast is 4.00 sq. ft... or are you saying cast vinyl is half the cost of cal to purchase? if so.. send me that link and I will buy up a bunch

Primal Decals 621 Posted December 11, 2014 Since im new to this decal world, am i understanding these calculator things correctly. If i get a 12"x50yd (which is 150 sq feet going by the calculator i got from here earlier in the post) roll of oracal 651 at 25.00 a roll it breaks down to .17cents a square foot? Thats what my cost is ? And if im charging $10-$15 for sq foot for a design from my customer,Is that good?

Primal Decals 621 Posted December 11, 2014 I have no overhead. i work from home. equipment is new and 95% of my designs take less than 2 min to create in ai and send the scalp4. Weeding time is less than 5 min on most but no more than 10 min.. To me im doing good i guess lol
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted December 11, 2014 Plan your hourly rate , your time isn't free, plan on new upgraded equipment in the future . . . Equipment isn't free, you pay electricity, pay for programs ( do you now or will in the future need corel, Photoshop, illustrator, flexi) as you grow. Plan ahead and think now about all the expenses you need to pay back for current equipment. Just cause you have something now doesn't mean it didn't cost you something to get it.
