Roll Vinyl Calculator

Recommended Posts

Sidelinemgr - I'm pretty sure you need a spreadsheet program like Excel or OpenOffice Calc to view the roll vinyl calculator spreadsheet.

To the op and the other person that provided these calculators, Do either of you mind if I use these calculations for a php program for websites to add to oscommerce?

Thanks,

Mark

Just tried this out. Works great. I keep it in my Google Drive so it's always available to me no matter where I'm at. Especially handy on my phone when I have a client standing in front of me asking for prices.

Awesome calculator. I added in magnetic material to mine, it seems like some stuff should be priced higher. Now all we gotta do is determine how much markup we're passing off. LOL

Thanks for the spreedsheet work... I do a little of that and I know how hard it can be......

you can pull your hair out when a formular doesnt work :)

I actually charge by the sq. foot.... say I have a 24" x 12" design (2 sq. ft.)  I charge for a 12" x 30" pcs. (30" roll)  2.5 sq ft..  that compensates for all the waste material...

I made an printable invoice sheet in the second spreedsheet so I can copy the total and then print it out....

its a bare bones thing... and hope to work on it some more soon

Here is my Estimator spreedsheet

I estimate my jobs (cut vinyl) using a square foot method....

I have included one open office calc sheet and one converted to .xls

there is a cell clearing macro so not sure if it will convert, but you can easily redo the macro...

let me know what you think

thanks
