Windows 32 bit system error help.

Hello,

  Nothing that the manual says will happen happens when I follow the instructions for installing the driver. I put the cd in, nothing happens. I plug the machines in, and the found new hardware wizard comes up. The manual is showing a different version of windows I think. I have windows vista. I tried installing new hardware manualy from control panel and it gave me the windows 32 bit system error. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
