CyberChuck 4 Posted March 16, 2009 http://abitape.com/tape/tapefinder/index.htm You have to request it by their part number, but it pretty much walks you thru the process. Charlie

CyberSultan 6 Posted May 14, 2009 Unfortunately I've been getting a bit of the round-a-round with one of their sales reps. I have had to send a few emails back and forth, trying to get them to send me out the sample that I requested. I keep indicating the type of tape I want a sample of and they keep questioning if I really need the one I'm asking for or whether I need a different type. I'm asking for a sample of the 792U (which is a high-tack tape). I almost gave up on it after the last email I received. Oh well. I sent out one more response today...so hopefully I can get my sample soon.

codogs 0 Posted May 22, 2009 I requested a sample of 792U on 4/28 and got the email below yesterday (5/20). Hopefully they send a sample. I guess I could just buy a roll, but that's crazy talk. Anyone know how 792U compares to RTape Conform 4076-RLA High-tack? That's what I'm using now and it's okay, but many times it doesn't seem to be quite tacky enough. Email from American Biltrite Inc: "Due to an extremely heavy influx of sample requests and because we want to provide you with the most applicable tape for your testing, your request(s) is being forwarded to Anita Lundberg for further clarification about your requirement. Renegade 2 Posted May 22, 2009 Been getting the same hand off treatment through email. Not interested in a company that operates this way. I'm done with them.
sarconastic 29 Posted May 22, 2009 I got my samples from them about a month ago. They called me on the phone, asked me what my main business focus was on, I explained I was new and trying to figure out where I wanted to go with it. But was planning on Signage, vehicle and Wall Words. She sent me out 3 rolls of 782U 792U and Pm-12 I would guess maybe 25Ft to 50 ft rolls. Took about a week. 792 is high tack moisture resistant, 782 same with medium tack. Pm-12 is actually screen print cover. but I wanted to try it using it on my press to protect the platens. and it works great. AL the tapes seem to be really stable and make application a breeze. I just sent them an email to try and get a price sheet for their stuff etc. Kevin
