Changing Character Spacing?

Hi Everyone

I need some help on changing the character spacing. I have the book on signblazer but it is not the same

signblazer thats on my PC. In the book under text Dialog it tells you how to do it but my text dialog box does not have the same box thats in the book? Any help would be great.

select your text click node edit

then adjust spacing

Manual is for the full optioned HotShot & Pro version . Elements has different screens & options . You access SignBlazer with a right click on the desktop icon  ( something like that , I forget right now , but Jay or somebody else will explain ) , you can access Hot Shots version that way ( but can't save files ;( ) .

Hey that works but you have to type all the letters first then do your spacing.

  Is there a way to set the spacing before you type?

If not I guess that way will have to work.
