Motor Mount

Recommended Posts

**originally posted in the wrong section**   ;D ;D

I had the end cover off the PCUT yesterday and I noticed the motor seemed to be just "hanging" there.  There were 3 black rubber cushins of some sort and the motor was only attached to 1 of them.  It looked like it was intended for the motor to be attached to all 3 but it was obvious that they had never been attached.  Basically one screw in one of the rubber cushions and the drive belt going from the motor to the roller was the only thing holding the motor in place.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that something ain't right here.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?  And no, unfortunately, I didnt take a photo of it while I had the cover off....

Thanks!

You are correct!  There should be three bolts holding the motor in place.  I recently tightened mine up because the nuts had worked themselves out towards the end of the bolts.

From the looks of it, 2 of them were never connected to begin with.  I will need to take it back apart and see of I can figure out whats going on.
