help, driver issues i think

I'm new to forum, and green at cutting,but purchased a copam cp-2500 year or more ago and used it couple of times with little difficulty. My problem now is that it was run on a desk top pc, and I was trying to move the cutter to operate from a new laptop. I moved the signcut x2 license to the laptop because that is where the corel program is installed, and now I can't get the cutter to respond. I probably need the driver? but how do I find the right one?

what type of connection were you using on the desktop, and what type are you now using on the laptop(Serial,usb?)

If you are using USB you need to load the usb drivers.

I just received my Copam 2500 today and there were no USB drivers included. You have to go to www.support.uscutter.com and download them. You would think they would tell you that.
