BannerJohn 1,324 Posted July 27, 2007 I've bought refurbished computers,TV's,etc before with never a problem. Fact is,the law says if the box is open,you can't sell as new. The way I see it,if you buy a refurbished product,someone else found the problem(if there was one) and it has been fixed. If it comes with a guarantee,I go for it. kenimes 42 Posted July 27, 2007 Our refurbished Copams are not even refurbished really, they are open boxes. Customers got a new Copam, and sent it back for various reasons under the gaurantee period, but because they have been opened, we cannot sell as new. I took each one out of the box and tested with each communication port and ran some test plots, then boxed them back up for re-sale. So really, our refurbished units are really new units that have been opened and not used for more than a few weeks. Great deal for one of the best units in the market for the price.
