railsnw 0 Posted November 21, 2008 Hello all, I need your help. Several years ago I purchased a Graphtec 3000-60 to cut paint masks for restoration projects at the Northwest Railway Museum in Snoqualmie, WA. What I have been doing is tracing lettering from the piece of railroad equipment and then scan it. From there I trace it in Corel Draw 12 which works fine. The problem is when I send it to the cutter I get an error message and nothing cuts (sorry I can't remember the message, it's been a while since I last tried). I have never been able to get anything to cut. I heard somewhere that you can't use Corel Draw to send directly to the printer and you need another program? I'm currently working on the restoration of a railroad maintenance machine and a 1932 wooden boxcar and I don't want to cut the stencils by hand. HELP !!!! Thanks, Richard Wilkens
kenimes 42 Posted November 21, 2008 We have been selling the CE5000 and FC7000/8000's and they come with Cutting Master 2, which has plug-ins for Corel Draw. Not sure if it would work with the 3000 though... Have you tried GraphTec's site?
