USB Connection

I have my pcut connected through usb. After I make 1 cut it locks up on me. I get an error that it doesn't recognize the device. It'll cut once and then that happens. Any thoughts on a solution would be greatly appreciated. I didn't have this problem when I connected with a serial port. My new pc doesn't have a serial port, just usb.

Before installing this driver you are going to need to uninstall the old one. Go into your Device Manager, right click the port, click uninstall. Once you have done this run the new driver and it will auto install for you.

i reinstalled my pc, how do it change or set up the COMMs? i dont see it in my DEVICE MANAGER. thanks.

Now when you plug the USB cable in, nothing shows up in your Ports category?
