I purchased a MH871 and had to purchase a new computer which has Windows 8...My SCAL software is not compatible with Windows 8...is there another software program that can be used with the cutter that is compatible? New at this and still haven't been able to use my cutter yet, about ready to return, so frustrated

I have a new computer and it wont allow me to download the driver. contacted online us cutter support and they sent me to the ftdi site to download directly but I am still not able to download. Please help!

Hi Everyone, Yes I am new and really excited to use my cutter. I just can't seem to get it to work correctly. It just cuts a little line instead of the letters.. I thought it might be a driver error because I have windows8. I followed the instructions to fix that. I really am stumped.

Hello! This is my first post I have just purchased and received my first vinyl cutter, the MH871. I am excited to use it and I expect that I will be posting a lot of questions as I am learning how to use it! I have also just purchased a new laptop that has Windows 8 that I will be picking up tomorrow. I have yet to install everything just yet... but I just noticed that it indicates that it is compatable with Windows 7, but doesn't mention anything about Windows 8. Perhaps it is just because windows 8 is so new? Has anyone used it with Windows 8? Thanks

hello everyone. I joined about a year ago looking for help with signblazer. I didn't post much in the last year but back then I seen someone was asking for a server to download signblazer.. I was sick about all the dead links and all the ad's on the fileshare site's so I put up a link that is ad free and fast download. I have recently upgraded to windows 8.. the day it came out. and when I did I kept all my old files from windows 7.. they were saved under windows.old.. when I reinstalled signblazer I could not get my plotter to work with win8.. the drivers could not be found.. so I came back here looking for the same info I found a year ago. in the end I did a driver update but told windows to look for the driver in the windows.old folder and it worked.. I also found my old setings in a config file in the saved signblazer folder. at first the touch screen was cool worked fine. but it wasn't long b4 I went back to keyboard and mouse.. it was just faster for me.. But it is good to know that this program will work on the new windows 8 pro [not RT] tablet's.
