I bought an sc34 in 2009 for the EBay store portion of our company. Worked awesome for about 4 years, the last year she was showing signs of age so I bought another sc34 about 6 months ago. Had nothing but problems, inconsistent cuts, bad tracking, up & down pressure issues, etc. Well I got a new MB and cartridge for the new machine and it didnt change a thing. I got US Cutter to send me an entire new machine. This one too was doing the SAME thing?? So I was ready to throw this thing in the trash and I gave the boys in tech one last shot at helping me. I got a GREAT Guy this time and we did everything you could. So He asks what software am I using and I said sign cut pro. He says have you ever tried the free one we sent with the machine? I said no I haven't. I like signcut pro and I was used to it. SO He said the ONLY left to do is switch software just to see if the problem persists. All I can say is with the free disc of sure cuts alot did the trick. This machine has NEVER EVER been so well behaved, even on small detailed items!! I cannot believe that the software was the issue!!! Hope this helps some of you with similar issues!! Happy cutting!!
Hi everyone, I'm new here but I have been reading the forums for a few months now. Bought the mh series cutter for a hobby. Had some good times and some bad! When I first got it the motherboard was bad. USCutter replaced it no problem. Then the carriage was off track I fixed that. Had some cutting problems here and there. Now the problems are pretty much all the time. It will turn and slice. Stop mid cut and slice through. Got a huge roll of paper and used the pen to test designs before wasting a ton of vinyl. Then bought the keyspan adaptor. It worked amazing the first time! So naturally, I decide to try same design a second time and it's back to it's old tricks! Turned it off and tried again. Well now it's doing something new. Display reads Test.... and then it just moves material back and forth about 15 times. When it stopped I sent design to cut again and it will say Test.... and move material back and forth a bunch of times and it will not even attempt to cut design. Any help will be greatly appreciated since it's Saturday and also a holiday weekend! Melissa
Hi everyone, This is my first post and i hope to get a good feed back from you all, I have a MH 1351 50" cutter and i have been using it perfectly for the past 2 years, but suddenly the motherboard of the machine got effected and because of that every time i turn on the machine the blade starts to jump up and down and i can no longer use the controls, i asked around and people recommended to change the mother board and i did but since then the cutter cant cut any large artwork, what happens is in the middle of cutting it loses memory and the blade gets forced down and the rollers just keep on rolling and it starts to damage the artwork and goes out of the cutting area. i would appreciate your help guys... best regards, Mahdi
