    Adhesive removal

I recently purchased the vinyl remover (link attached) and had no problem getting the vinyl off. I was actually very impressed. BUT now I have no idea how to remove the adhesive! Ive tried heating it up, googone, wd-40 and washed with soap & cold water. Is there any way to get this off??? I have 6 shirts that need to be completed ASAP! Can anyone help?? http://www.uscutter.com/AlbaChem-Vinyl-Letter-Removing-Solvent
  2. What is your favorite Port & Company t-shirt? I ordered a variety to try out. Men's / Unisex PC55 PC61 PC150 PC54 Women's LPC55 LPC150 I was thinking about getting something with a removable tag so I could add our own tagless label. Trying to keep the cost as low as possible for a decent everyday t-shirt. Fitting as expected and shrinkage are also concerns. It looks like the PC150 is the cheapest in the Port & Co. lineup. Another option might be the Gildan G500. SanMar lists the G500 as having a tearaway label. Is that true? I have what I thought was a G500 t-shirt in my closet, but the seam ripped when I tore the label out. I know you can cut them off, but tearaway would be nicer.
  3. Im interested in doing a few vintage looking T-shirts but need the iron on vinyl to look weathered/ worn. Is there currently a vinyl out there that gives this look or is their a way too improvise? Thanks
  4. This was a 2 step process. Weeding and transferring a halftone was daunting, but it turned out to be fairly easy, just time consuming. I used the vinyl as a stencil and then fabric painted the shirt. I've already gotton requests for custom jobs. Do you think $50 is a fair price? Obviously multiple or existing designs would be less.
  5. Got a request from a female friend to make a shirt for her and one for her dad. The first is a glittery pink - not sure of brand, but I don't think it's Siser. It's a roll I bought from Ted when he was getting out of the business. It cuts like Siser, but the clear backing isn't adhesive at all. It's a pink with silver metallic glitter flakes in it, looks much better in person than it does in the photo. Second is basic white Siser EasyWeed on a FOTL heather t-shirt (looks darker in picture).

    JPSS and 3G Opaque HELP!!!

Hey guys, I haven't spent much time playing with my print transfer materials I bought awhile back because I really haven't had much luck when trying. For the dark shirts, I have done a couple of the opaque transfers. The color is great but the edges around the image are white and look bad. I tried to trim as close as possible to the image I printed (by hand) but there was still white after I transfered it. For the JPSS I realized it is really only good for white shirts because the color of the shirt will show through the image but I have a similar problem with it as well. I did a shirt with sisser easy weed text and a small portrait of patrick swayze next to it. I removed the background from the image but there is still some sharp edges at the bottom where his shirt was. it just doesn't look right to me. is there a way to feather the edges or soften it?
  7. I am new at Siser ez weed. Was wondering what pressure I should be cutting it at? I have a Graphtec CE 5000. Any help? Melissa
