  1. Hi everyone, I hope you may be able to help with this one. I am a Danish girl, who have been plotting wallstickers with my Foison C24 for almost a year now. Yesterday my computer went all weard, at the setup for plotting om my machine is now gone! I got help with the setup when I first bought the plotter, but the salesman is now on holliday, and I have lots of wallstickers to plot these days. I have tried to plot using com1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 - but none of them will activate the plotter. Enclosed you will find a printscrean of Production manager and all my tests. What to do - please help!!! Thank you from Maiken
  2. Hey guys, A female member of my family that I will not name accidently broke the USB port on my cutter. I read a thread about another member that got a replacement but I am wondering if anyone has soldered theirs. I am sure this has happened to other people because the port is not very well supported. Thought I would ask
  3. I have been using Flexi 7.5 for years and have never had this problem. I will begin a cut that is six lines of text. When the cut get's sent, the production manager shows the percentage of completion. It stops processing at 83%. I get 5 complete lines of text properly cut and one line that does not cut completely. As well, if I must restart my computer if I want to send another cut. The production manager will say 'write port error'. I have ensured that my baud rates all match (on the plotter, the driver (device manager), and the production manager. (as stated in http://forum.uscutte...ite-port-error/ pinned post). It was set properly, and has always been set this way. I also lowered my buffer settings to assist in alleviating communication errors. 1 out of 10 cuts with aforementioned 6 lines of text will be erradic. The plotter seems to just go haywire and will cut a straight line until I tell it to stop (reset manually - or - exit production manager). Sometimes the line is vertical sometimes it is horizontal (and the plotter reaches the edge of the plot surface and attempts to continue heading in that direction). Does anyone else have any experience with this issue? Please respond with any information you believe may be relevant to my current issue. I still need to cut those 6 lines of text about 200 more times. *sigh* /dyndes

    Tip for serial port users

Too often, people search for answers on these boards and when they figure it out, they fail to follow up, leaving others in the same perdicament to wonder how they did it. So, I will not be so selfish and share what I have figured out... I have a MH1351 cutter with a broken USB port. Instead of fixing it, I decided to get a serial cable because no setup was neccesary. (supposedly) When I set up Signblazer to use Blazer: Com1, I got the error message "Can't initialize output device", Tried everything suggested on this site to figure it out to no avail, so I did some experimenting and stumbled on a solution. Here's what I did: I installed a random printer in XP (doesn't matter which one because you are not using it) and set it to link to Com port 1 during setup. Now, when I open Signblazer >Cut >Setup, there is now COM1 listed at the bottom of the list as well as Blazer:Com 1...I have had NO problems cutting while using this COM1 instead of BlazerCom1...I saved the setup in the Setup screen as well, just in case the Com1 option disappears again... Hopefully, this will help someone else whose pulling their hair out trying to fix the same problem...Good Luck!
