  1. I recently upgraded from a Cameo 4 Pro to the Graphtec CE7000-60. I got everything set up, my test cuts are good, it's not going through the backing paper on the vinyl and just leaving a little etching on it. I noticed that when I send my file to the plotter from Graphtec Studio 2 the plotter cuts and then it comes back and goes over the same cuts again, then again, and again. Last time I cut a file it went over the same cuts so much it went through the backing paper. It also doesn't cut the entire file. So I thought maybe it was the file and wanted to make sure it didn't have any double lines, so I created the design again in Graphtec Studio 2, again, it cut some of the file, but not all of it and then it stopped and it was ready for another job. Am I missing something? I've been through the plotter manual and the Graphtec Studio 2 manual, but I can't find anything on this. I love how fast and quiet this cutter is, but I need to be able to crank out my vinyl graphics and right now I still have to use my Cameo. Help!
  2. I just upgraded to a Graphtech and I can't seem to find the option to do a double pass and all my googling isn't turning up anything so far. Is this something possible in CM4? The vinyl I'm cutting small text out of weeds effortlessly if I do a double pass on the cut. I'm using a ce7000-40 btw. Thanks!
  3. This has got to be some of the crappiest news to hit. Dr Egon Spengler I mean Harold Ramis passed away today. Which is a big loss for Hollywood, and us Ghostbuster's fans, My prayers go to his family and to hos extended family Ray and Peter.. I mean Dan and Bill.

    Signcut Makes Multiple Passes

Hello Everyone, Hoping someone on here can help me out... Signcut makes 2-3 passes over the same cut even though I have it set to only make 1 pass. Not sure what i am doing wrong if anything. I was able to reduce the number of nodes the vectorized image had so I don't think thats the problem. Any help would be appreciated! Here's my setup: Macbook OSx 10.5.8 Signcut Pro w/Mac Build 1.07 AI CS4 Maybe the trace option in AI is causing this? I just need it to stop after the first pass and move on to the next, you know...lol! Thanks!
