    Large Wall Art Tree

Most of the work I do involving vinyl to date has been for car windows, business windows, or on balloons. I have been playing more and more with wall art (especially now because I am getting ready to move into a new place I plan to do some major designing with) and have wanted to do a large tree for a while. I finally sat down yesterday and did this test run for the office I share with a couple of other businesses. Here is the final result. All and all this measures 8 ft wide by 7 ft tall. All plotted on my refine MH 721. Now only two more of these guys to plot and install!

    Plotting in sections or pieces?

I think I have it figured out **Crosses fingers**
  6. I am working on a large vinyl tree silhouette to apply on a wall. I have a Refine 721 so I am going to need to plot this one out in pieces. My question is what would be the easiest way to go about this. In total this will be just over 8 ft tall and about 9 ft wide. Basically I'm thinking of plotting it like pieces of a puzzle and putting it together on the wall. I guess my biggest issue is breaking it up and then plotting it while keeping each piece proportionate. I hope I am making sense! Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thank you in advance
  7. I'm having the same problem and I've tried everything. The Baud rate and the USB port are all correct. It was working fine until today. Well I take that back it's had small issues since we opened the box but I keep fixing it. I have a refine as well and havn't nearly had the problems. What else could it possibly be?
  8. I was wondering how the Pcut would handle cutting window tint? Also does anyone know where to pre made templates for window shapes and sizes?
  9. I've read through this board and can't seem to find an answer to this question. I know you can use inkscape to do two layers on lettering but quite frankly I'm dissapointed with the quality that comes out of it. Does anyone know a way to get it to work in Illustrator. Strokes won't work but there has to be a way. It would be much simpler since I design everything in Illustrator and I can just send right to signcut.

Help! Cutting way off on lettering

Nevermind! The carriage had come unseated!
  11. Okay so for the first couple of months I havn't really had any issues. Now suddenly when I go to cut any lettering it cuts way off. For instance say it's cutting an O it wont complete the O correctly the two ends wont connect. I wanted to have this set of signs done for someone tomorrow and I'm pulling my hair out and wasting vinly trying to figure out whats happening. It almost seems like it's the program. I'm using Signcut. I have a Refine MH721 and Im hooked up with USB (my only choice because I'm running this from a laptop) This is extremly frustrating and nothing I am doing is fixing it Any help?

Well nothing on this end yet. Do you have a tracking number or something or did they not get sent out? I've made due with some dowels but I would really like the parts that go with.
