  1. joysweet, I feel the same. Where is the support? Uscutter got their $$ and we got left in the dust. I have no clue about vectoring, tiling, weeding etc. I am clueless and can't catch a break. I need help or this machine will never get used. HELP!!!!! I need someone to walk me through every step of cutting 1 simple thing like the letter A. That will give me an idea as to what needs to be done for larger words and such. Where do I start? What do I need to do? I have a Refine 721 using a USB drive (which I cannot install due to driver errors) Nothing else will work either on my computer(COM needs two male adapters and I had 1 male and 1 female sent with the cutter, LPTdoes not exist on my laptop.) I have windows xp and I am attempting to use Signcut (I am having about as much luck getting help from them as I do here.) I purchased this on June 13, 2007. I am using regular vinyl that I purchased from a local sign shop. Someone Please Help!!!

I am new to the vinyl cutting world and already want to scream. I don't understand a darn thing. I got the refine 721 and can't use serial or parallel ports bacause the laptop does not have a 25 prong anything and the smaller one needs 2 male plugs. The cord given is a single cord with a male and female end. The USB is bad because the homeade drivers disk will not download the driver. Also, what is vectoring? Dingbat fonts? How do you properly install the cutting knife - how do you know how far to insert it and twist the holder? Why don't these things come with instructions. I seriously thought I was getting a machine I could type a phrase on my computer and send it to the cutter to cut it. Easy. I was sooooo wrong!!! Who wants my machine? I feel like I want to be done with this mess. I sure hope that someone on this forum can help, or my machine will have to go. Please, anyone with any patience and willingness to help me, I would so appreciate it. Thank you, Jessica
