  1. Problem was solved. You guys are US Cutter geniuses! Can I order a replacement "carrier arm" (flimsy plastic piece that clamps on the blade-carrier) just in case mine breaks? I'd hate to be in the middle of a job when that happened.
  2. That part does seem quite flimsy and that it may be headed that way. I'm speaking about the clamp that holds the blade carrier in place. If that eventually breaks can it be replaced?
  3. You guys are awesome. I just read into some other people's troubles and thought that might be it. I can't see the pic above here at work, but there was a pic in another thread that really showed me what you guys were talking about. I can't wait to get home to fix it! Thanks again!
  4. I love my US Cutter Refine series. It has made me 25x what it cost me! Well worth it. That said, it was working awesome (less than 6 months old) and all of a sudden I'm having trouble with it. The communication is working fine between the computer and the cutter. It is having trouble cutting. It's like the blade is getting caught or the vinyl isn't feeding consistantly. I have changed the blades... changed the speed... changed the depth and it still seems to acheive a very poor cut. Nothing like it was when I got it. Corners aren't being pointed, they are kind of a lazy rounded corner, lines aren't keeping strait, it's really weird. I'll also get some grinding every once in a while. I've about given up. If anyone has had any of these problems and has some advise please let me know. I am losing money and had to go back to a 12 inch roland that I used to use for hobbywork. I really need to fix this and fast! Thanks in advance for the help! -Robbo
  5. I check the cutting strip every time I cut... it seems to be fine. What exactly do you mean by grounded properly? Just flat and firm to the floor? The carriage is seated according to instruction and I have cut numerous projects with it since I got the cutter. I think that the cutting force may be the problem. Thanks!
  6. I don't usually cut anything wider than 15 inches on my US Cutter 24 inch Refine Series. However, I'm about to do a 24inch graphic for a trailer and I noticed that once I get past the 12-15 inch width everything cut on the vinyl width past that is not cutting to the same depth. It's to the point where I can't even weed out the material. My question is whether this is a cutting depth/pressure issue, speed of the cut, blade or something else. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Robbo
