I got a deal with a dealership for 1000 dealer tags. i'm charging $425.00 is that to low? What do/would you guys charge?

I do banners anywhere from $10 for a single word to $100 for multi color with some designs on it. Also charge $10 is they want it installed.

I need to back mine up...if the computer were to crash i'd lose hundreds of hours of work... actually i'm doing that now. Because if that would happen i might be tempted to quit.

Don't know how to post pics... they are roughly 2" x 4" and take a minute to weed so that 16.6 hours of weeding. So thats $25.20 so lets just say $21 a hour after material costs.

A new trend with the import scene is putting banners that usually go at the top of the windshield, right above their wipers... they seem to be holding up well too.

I just noticed where you live. I used to live there a years ago. Not same town but a few hours away. You ever consider moving out of that town and closer to the twin cities? St. Cloud for instance. The city will be were all the wraps will be at...also competition. However, Normal metallic vehicle wraps are becoming popular. The car culture is going to be more saturated in the twin cities. Buy a house in st. cloud with a attached or detached garage hell if you buy a house on a decent amount of land build your own shop.

Not even done with the design yet. The deadline is the end of july. So we are not in much of a hurry atm.

So I I'm going to be trading decals for Aircraft vinyl. They are 30" x 150'. Some are a bit less not much of the green left he said. Is this a good deal? Roughly how much is this stuff worth? It's real aircraft vinyl because his employer builds aircrafts. I accepted it in return I'm making him decals for his derby car.

Is there a website that give windshield/rear window dimensions? I like to have the window banners about 2" from the window trim. But it's hard I don't know the dimensions.

This actually helps me out a ton, Thank you. This would also help with decals for other parts of the body also. You think autozone would have glass dimensions on their website...

That makes some sense though. Since that market isn't really over saturated prices are going to be quite high.

Just out of curiosity How much did the materials cost? Roughly how many man hours were consumed? I understand the risk of it, my grandpa used to work at a place that painted planes. If one of the planes had even the tiniest bubble in the paint the whole thing had to be repainted. $15k for the tail section of a plane just blows my mind. Also would you or anyone you know be interested in this vinyl? As i said I have no use for it...unless i someone want's their plane wrapped in burgundy. I'm down for turning $500 into 20k

Exactly, I've spent hours on designs before just to have them rejected. Was I offended? Not really.

If the material is that much i don't want to know how much people charge to wrap planes....Simple little stripes could be a few grand

Thank you for that. I've always thought they painted all the planes instead of using vinyl. Since paint would be lighter you'd think. I think i'm going to have to find a place that does plane wraps and stripes Etc. I don't plan on doing any work on planes in the future.

Unno seems weird to me. Maybe the big name aircraft producers requested it to be. Just making guesses
