  1. Skeeter, i got one of those adapters today, been cutting huge stuff with no problem. thank you. Slice, now thats what I was looking for, thanks now I know they make them. I'm want to cut off two cutters at the same time because most I do is two color and would like to do inline outline simultaneously, you know without having to change media all the tile,, just using two cutters, is that possible? Or do I need to link to PC's with the two cutters? someway, somehow?
  2. I suspect the cable that came with the unit is a null cable? Am I right or no?
  3. That is only for Video ok didn't know if there is a way to do it. I know the Tripp lite is standard just trying to get away from USB if its possible. Thank You
  4. Getting the typical erratic cut on any large cuts. I have a 15 pin VGA out on my laptop, can i get an adapter to plug my 9 pin into the com port on my MH 871-MK2? Or are the VGA ports on the laptop just for video use? Any settings to go to COM? Did a lot of search on this and of course didn't come up with anything. Just USB to COM.

I just got this the other day and getting used to it like any machine, the tracking is touchy to say the least. Just going to have to make longer cuts as I get used to it. Thanks Skeeter for your help.

UGH, That's what I was afraid you were going to say. I've been lucky not having to shut it off, just hitting origin. But I Like doing large orders in stages so I get up and check the cut and alignment anyway, thing is if I forget to hit origin then I'm screwed.

Thanks skeet its the MH871 , after it advances the cut and I got to cut again it goes back to the origin and cuts over what I already cut. Unless I hit offline/origin. Never had to do this with any other cutters.
  11. 1 Moving stuff around like move to front one, back one. where is that at? 2 Do I have to hit offline then Origin every time I cut so it don't go back where I started cutting? Default setting somewhere? Duane

Well here I am from Indiana.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Looks like CUT will be all I need for awhile, the layout is totally different and when my brain sais "do this" I tend to automatically mouse to were LXI had there icons. But you know something? the layout seems to be pretty nice. Your right the pre clean/post clean vectorizing is amazing and all right there in one place, that will save time and it works. If she were my neighbor I would probably learn this program faster, and be able to learn some fast tricks. Sorry Skeet blame it on the Music.
  13. I started maybe like 15 years ago on a Stika, then other Roland's. Sold them and couldn't handle the withdraws so I got back into the biz using signwarehouse and started using the LXI Expert for about the last ten / twelve years or so. Long story short but in the last month, cat got the expert dongle,( mystery). had to struggle back to apprentice for 2 weeks,( manageable with Carel Draw but sucked) then cutter dies last sat.(hanging from ceiling with a couple others as display now). Nuts. So I'm here a proud new owner of an MH 34" and what they call the VinylMaster Cut - Design & Cut Software. so I'm guessing your going to see me on here a lot learning the new software. If it outlines-inlines-and shadows text with good manipulation like the salesmen said it does I'll be ok I think. Good artwork would be a plus. More when it gets here tomorrow. Duane
