There is an Outline tool (single outline) and and Outline Effect (multi inline or outline). Look it up in the Help (menu) > Help Topics.

Also, click the Help (menu) > Help Topics in the software to bring up the manual. You can use the Keyword search to find the topic that relates to this issue and/or expand out the folders to drill down to the topic. For a border, create a square and use the power nodes to form a border.

A = Typographic size which includes the ascender and descender. T = The height of a capital letter H and most often T (depending on the font).

For VinylMaster users Titan cutters must be set to Direct USB in the Vinyl Spooler and may also need the emulation changed. Please see this guide for: How to Setup a Vinyl Cutter Please see this guide for: How to Setup Emulation (Plotter Language) Also, use the shortest possible cable you can 3' is ideal. Also, make certain the cutter is grounded so any static is discharged.

In the Connection tab of the Vinyl Spooler set the Port Type to Windows and the Port to FILE: Then, with the cutfile in question selected in the Vinyl Spooler, click Cut Now and instead of sending the file directly to the cutter, a window will appear, asking you to save the data to a PLT file on your computer. Save this file and email it to support@future.support and they will take a look at the file to see if it is hardware or software related.

Using the default settings it traces it fine. Then outline it 0.25" using this tool (tip change the corner style for variation):

For the button to appear you must select an image to trace. Else it is in the Images (menu).

If you open the Object Manager in the Design Center (Tools button in the top right corner) you will see this object by color. Select and delete if need be.

Reinstall the software and check Install Thumbnail Previewer on the last installation window. See if that helps.

In the Help (menu) > About does it state it is a USCutter edition of VinylMaster - if not, it will not have a vectorizer.
