ok thanks i will continue with 631 for walls and try 651 on some cars maybe even my own.

i am using the clear app tape now on the 631 and i am having problems when applying to a wall, the letters stay stuck to the app tape so i was going to try the new app tape made for the 631 but i wanted to make sure it works with other vinyl so i could use it on cars also.

so if i use 651 on his car and that has permanent adhesive wouldnt that destroy the paint on his car. i understand app tape is more of a personal preference and i understand use less tack when doing vinyl inside on walls i guess my question would be what type of vinyl should be used on cars and i mean on the actual body of the car not the windows.

ok thanks for the info one more question i actually made another post for this, will the new app tape for the 631 work with any or most other vinyl i have a friend who wants me to make him some flames to put on the side of his car what type of vinyl would you recomend i already got a reply that avery fdc and some other brand were good choices but i would like to stay in the orcal family if possible. do i need a different type of app tape for vehicles and walls.

i already use 631 it works pretty good for wall graphics i want to purchase the new app tape for the 631 but would like to know if it works with all or most vinyl or just 631. Also will 651 work for car graphics and wall graphics can anyone tell me suggestions for app tape to use with each. I'm pretty sure i wouldn't want to use the app tape made for 631 on or for car applications. Sorry if this is confusing i've been on a crash course with video tutorials forums etc..etc... on vinyl, vinyl applications, app tapes, so i tend to ramble Lol... Thanks

Ok after researching on copyrights i have a whole new outlook so yes i will be staying far from that area of decals. I have one more question.I really dont want to waste money on a ton of vinyl with a glossy finish especially if i want to use on my walls at home so what other brand would you suggest that wont hit you in the pockets and has a matte finish. My wife is a school teacher and wants me to make some cool stuff for her class room i was reading somewhere that they have chalk board vinyl is this true. Although i am practicing with the vinyl i am planning on selling some of the things i make. Sorry guess that is two questions.

great thanks for the speedy reply so would you suggest the 651 over the 631 for customer based products what about application tape will one specific kind work for both greenstar and or oracal. I have a customer who wants a dallas mavericks logo and a portland trailblazers logo i was hoping the starter pack would provide me with enough of the colors to start out but i noticed they did not have a grey in the pack. Also what about pricing i am trying to figure out how to price decals i have a 25" cutter so i can make a decent sized decal but not sure what to price them at especially if i am using more than one color.

Hello everyone i just wanted to know if anyone has tried the greenstar vinyl on any walls and what were the results. Also what about spackled walls will any vinyl work on those type of walls. I am thinking of purchasing the greenstar starter pack but i dont want to waste $140 on vinyl if i can avoid it. Just dived into my own little business and the funds for vinyl products have gone down drastic so i need to avoid any pitfalls. Thanks in advance

I am using windows XP, I have a Us Cutter Model Mh71, and i am running it directly to my Cpu using my Com1 port. I recently updated to the newest version of inkskape and i signed into signcut to see if anything new was out and i was asked to migrate to SignCut Productivity Pro since i chose the winning picture selected in the contest. I clicked migrate it said i would recieve an email to verify but i never recieved an email so i tried using my machine the next morning for a small job i had and this was the error message sent to me after clicking cut using signcutx2. License has been migrated to SignCut Productivity Pro. Someone please let me know what i am doing wrong. I am losing money and i promise to never Migrate again.

Ok i have a question lets say i have a circle and i want to cut it in half after i change it into the nodes wit the little dots how do i go about splitting it in half with out the circle turning into a blob. I have yet to figure this out can anyone post a how to on this.

Hows it going i was finally ready to try the sample pack from US Cutters store after going through all the free vinly i recieved and now its all gone is their going to be another special on this or what i really wanted to test it out can someone let me know before i go looking elsewhere for a deal like that. hi i just started using inkskape and have been trying to arch my text rather than sticking with plain straight text i need it to wrap arount whatever picture i trying to use can anyone help and give any info on this subject.

sorry for the delayed resposne i'm in plano i was reffered by a place called sign solution in plano to a company called glantz & son they were highly recomended and local in irving, TX i believe the guy at sign solution says thats where he gets all his supplies and they do C.O.D also i think i might check that place out. But as for now i have ordered the thermoflex for shirts but have yet to choose a vinyl for vehicles becuase i'm not sure on what to try. I also want to do some wall art but i'm not sure what type of vinyl is used for that as well. Thanks for any info you can help me out with on this issue. Q. :yes:
