same issue. My plotter is a ce5000-60. since i installed the Cutting master 3, the issue started. it was working just fine, but because of new illustrator version, it demands you to use the Cutting master 3. tried everything you have mention. it just remains syncin... I tried yo use the graphtec studio, same issue came up.
