    Alternative to Oracal 8300?

    ddub posted a topic in Vinyl

    First I purchased a sample of a transparent vinyl from ebay. It did what I wanted, but I want to now purchase entire rolls. Looking at the oracal chart, I thought that their 8300 would work. Not as good, it is "cloudier" than the sample off of ebay. Does anyone have experience of vinyl's that are less cloudy than the 8300? Thank you in advance.

    Thanks! I was able to ungroup, remove the weedbox, and regroup. Getting closer to an expert now.... LOL

    Mz Skeeter, So, how do I get rid of it?

    New to this, so if it has been answered (and probably has) I apologize. Some of the vector files that I have tried to use already have a weedbox. (I hope that is the correct terminology) But the problem is that on rectangular shapes, the weedbox is square. SO, you waste a lot of vinyl. How can you eliminate or adjust the weedbox to your needs? Using Razorcut for what it is worth. Thank you in advance.
