    SEIKO 64S

I dont know if this is in the wrong section but am hoping somebody will view and help me!... My seiko is 'bleeding' over (black letters have a fade of cyan outside, when i look at the colour bar the colours look nice but check out my LC it bleeds into the yellow and theres a white line to the left of it. Would this be a mechanically alignment issue or an actual print head failure? Had so many issues with this printer but this is the last one (i hope) for a while, Help please!!

What is your favorite shape to use as a registration mark?

On the light table front, I made my own. I will post pics soon, it came out brilliant! Recipe.... A large work bench (the sort the you slip the table to in to. I set the worktop down slightly then fitted one of those Lights you see in shops with the 4 light tubes, Place ontop of the table top and plug in Luckily the company i bought my printer off gave me a HUGE sheet of Glass approx 7ft x 3ft. Put this above the Light unit but have the light unit just low enough that the glass doesnt touch. And there you have it, one AWSOME light table (cost me about

    canvas?

Yeah i print onto canvas, not very often though, i use 38mm stretcher bars as the thin ones tend to splinter easy if not packaged well, although when i print using my ipf6100 i can only print about 20" ( 24" printer) as the frames are too thick to wrap them. if i am doing a large image i will put them either on the 64" solvent or sub out the print and charge for the stretching, (i do it manually)

    My first Partial Wrap

Hey guys, just thought id throw in an image of my first partial wrap.It took me 6hours longer than i quoted but ive learnt a hell of alot about this part of the game!! I had to print the image twice cos when it tiled the first image it made the cooker shrink on one tile so i had half the cooker 2inch smaller than the other side! other than that i was impressed at how well this rm pro stuff conforms! Ive built an awsome light table too, il post some pics....

    Banner, digital or Vinyl?

Dont worry fella, its a bit of a 'sweetener'. He 'should' be bringing me plenty of business. Banners are very competitive. if i do this one with just a bit of a markup he should use me again and again and again. Got 3 signshops in my town so i gotta nudge my way in somehow!

  15. I have been making Graphics for a while and have now opened a sign shop. Just done a job for a local pre-school. Basically they wanted the schools sign and details on a board on the outside of their building, Anyway, I have used some Foamex (3mm) cut it and applied my printed graphic. In your opinions what is the best finish... Wrap the image around and over the edges, cut flush with the edge of the foamex or cut a thin border around the outside? Hope ya'll can offer me some advice!..
