    Can't believe I can't find this font.

Ok, I'm not trying to copy the "look", just the font. I'm trying to clean it up and make it look new and fresh, not have the distressed look. If that makes any sense. I'm just trying to find the font that has the shapes, not the look. It's from an old document (many years before computers), nothing that was computer made.

    Pressing Koozies

I've only been brave enough to do 3 at a time on mine and 2 mouse pads.

    sublimation Inks

What are you talking about? I waited............as long as it took me to get the printer set up, the 10 printer head cleanings it took to get the ink worked through and all the stuff sorted and ready to go. It was a very long wait. LOL! Oh yeah Macon, that came out great!

    Pressing Koozies

I would think the only limitation to doing a few at a time is whether your press heat and pressure is equal across the press. Otherwise, I would think 3 at a time wouldn't be a problem, but the more experience folks might have more info.

    Can't believe I can't find this font.

It's considerably old, so I was kind of hoping that it was some kind of typerwriter font. I might have to just go with the FF DIN font and hope for the best. The other option is to take several photographs and try and clean them up. But I wanted a crisp image for the plaque.

    USPS insurance

This is something that bothers me. Shipping a mass produced item, not really a big deal if you have to replace it. Shipping a one of a kind custom item, replacing it isn't so easy. Years back, I had to ship a custom Harley tank. And it was one that had a lot of graphics on it and many hours of work on it, so having to replace it meant, getting another tank and having to repaint the entire thing. Add the cost of the masking, primer, paint, pearl, metal flake and all the rest of the materials, even if the insurance covered everything, it's still weeks lost and an unhappy customer. They lost the tank for 4 weeks. In the mean time, I'm making up a new tank, which was money out of my pocket and getting it ready. Finally, it shows up at the customers. Luckily, I had packed it well enough that the tank wasn't damaged, even though the box looked like it had been through hell and back. So then, I was stuck with a tank I had paid out extra money for, no buyer for it and no idea how to finish it. Because no matter what I put on it, it won't be what a new customer would want. Plus, having it on the shelf with finished paint, means it WILL get scratched at some point.

    USPS insurance

What kills me is when you pay for 2 day priority and a week later, it still hasn't shown up and you can't collect on it, because it isn't damaged, it's lost. And in the mean time, YOU are stuck with covering the item with the person you are sending it to. Right now, I'm pretty much hating USPS. The last 4 things I've shipped out 2 day priority have taken a lot longer than 2 days.

    sublimation Inks

I've used the ImageRight and DyeTrans. The ImageRight seems to have a little more pop to the colors, but it's probably just me. Probably if you put them side by side, there wouldn't be a lot of difference. I do wish they'd make it a little easier to tell which is the bright white side though.

    Navy Ship "FFG"

#8 Frigates are pretty distinctive. Look for the box backed ships, if that makes any sense. You might be able to do something with this one, if that one doesn't work.

    sublimation Inks

If you ordered the printers from Cobra, I'd just call them and tell them what you are planning on using them for and they can tell you what the best ink is. The others may have better input than that though.

    cracked cups

Yep. Sounds like what I got. Checking more it almost looks like a couple were dropped when they were being put in the box. There are chips in the coating. Now my concern is how they will sublimate. The one that is cracked had a chip in it right in the center of the crack.

Do you have a website for your business?

My virus scan (Avast) blocked the site. Popped up 2 things, so I'm not sure what is up with that.

    question with a 7110

Uh oh. My wife is gonna kill me if she see's this thread. I can hear it now, "You mean to tell me there is paper for REGULAR ink for transfers to regular shirts??" Uhm.......

    cracked cups

OK, that tells me something right there. I'm really as much concerned about the $1.60 for the mug, as I about the $40 in shipping.

    Looking to get into Sublimation..

Cobra builds the printers, if you ordered with the CIS tanks. I got concerned on mine after a couple days and emailed them. They replied the next day that they will ship and email me the tracking when they get it built. A couple days later, the emailed me the tracking and a few days after that, I got my printer. It was a little over a week from the time I ordered, to the time I got mine. As Wildgoose said, they lack on the notification, but I have no complaints about getting my orders from them.

Yes, but geniuses are those who give those ideas a try. Because it only takes one good idea to make you a genius. Failures only impart knowledge and often lead to successes. Wow, that was kind of deep.

Parody. And some copyrights do have expiration dates a lot of the time. Although, it may not have expired on this one, they can use the parody excuse. I'm would think a corporation checked into that before they printed out the shirts. Not sure.

The comment, maybe you have to have family members who have given their lives for this country to know, is interesting to me. My father, uncle, grandfather and many others in my family were career miitary, between the three, they served in WW1, WW2, korea and Viet Nam, serving at a time when Native Americans were met with some resistace in the military, that was quite a feat. Several family members lost their lives along the way in those wars. Some folks view imitating that image as a feat of accomplishment and imitating it is a way of celebration. I guess I see things a little differently.

    Dyepress Poly on Acrylic glass.

Well, it was a thought. The problem with thoughts is, not all of them are good. LOL! Sometimes those stupid ones slip out and a person doesn't catch them before they go public. LOL!

I like it! Now you need to mount it to an LED stand.

    lay vinyl stencil on paint,

To end up with no ridges, you need to go with a clear coat. Primer, paint, stencil. Light wet sand. At least 4 coats of clear coat. More is better. Wet sand til you no longer feel any ridges. I use 400 grit, then go to 600 grit, then buff it to a high gloss. Use a good 3M polishing compound. http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/48424-bike-paint/
  25. Could your press be too hot? I don't know anything about any of that, but it would seem to me that if it's sticking, it could be that maybe your press isn't exactly correct and maybe it's too hot? Dunno. Just a thought.
