    font does not cut correctly

I am having this problem now also. I had this thing for over 3 years with no problems and just started happening. My question to you is- did you do the Signblazer crack to get past the trial pop up? I am trying to figure out if that is the problem because I did just that about 2 months ago.
  2. Im amazed at this ridiculous complaint. It just shows how ignorant some people are in the world. But there is a lot of good people too and idiots I guess just have to get their word out. So whatever even if people like this disturb me. Kind of childish.

    Roland CutStudio and Inkscape??

Yeah, someone I know is having problems importing Inkscape made files into Roland's SignMate software. It works for SignBlazer but apparently not for SignMate. It sounds like there are different versions of .eps files which is so annoying. Someone gave me a .eps files made from a new version of Illustrator and it won't import into SignBlazer correctly. Its driving me nuts that everything can't just be compatible. Does anyone know a solution to this?
  4. O ok. So do you think that Inkscape just isn't possible to be used with SignMate or is there some way like an update needed for it to work. Anyone have any thoughts at all?
  5. How do you convert it to a certain version anyway? I see after you hit save as .eps, the pop up window allows you to save as Postscript level 2 or Postscript level 3. But I don't even know if that means the same thing as Versions and if it does there is no level 8. Do you know if levels are understood as the same thing or what they are?
  6. Thats a bummer, i figured there were some type of different versions. Is there any way to convert them to older versions with anythin free from the internet? Do you know what the latest version is? Also, does anyone know what versions are compatible with SignBlazer Elements? yes Signmate is a program for the Roland cutter but I don't think she has Illustrator or Corel Draw. So is there anyway that she can use Inkscape for this? Thanks for all your help. -Eric
  7. Okay, is there different versions of the .eps vector graphic or something? The reason is, one of the .eps vectors someone made for me to cut wouldn't import into SignBlazer elements correctly. And a similar thing happened when someone I am trying to help can't import her Inkscape made vector .eps into her sign software called SignMate. What is the deal with this and is there a way around it? Possibly saving it in a different way or something.
  8. bayotle, that is so cool. Thanks for sharing the info. I am going to give this a try. I have heard that there was an update that fixed this problem which could be downloaded from the signblazer site but it isn't online anymore so thats a bummer. Does UScutter have the update to download to fix this? If not I am definitely going to try ur method. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge
  9. Every time I import a .eps graphic and the project is done with, my SignBlazer software automatically saves a .pvw file to my computer. Is there anyway to stop it from doing this? Its annoying becuase I only use it once.

Is SignBlazer Elements availiable for Windows 7

Speedoggy, thank you so much for pointing this place out. That had to be the most painless guide ever! Although I think I would have figured it out when I got to my cutter, I found out that I could also disable Signblazer's attempt to search for updates. Awesome, just awesome. Thanks -Eric

Is SignBlazer Elements availiable for Windows 7

Awesome thanks for your help. I downloaded it and hit run and I didn't see any confirmation that it was fully installed. I downloaded the Signblazer software and will test to see if it works tomorrow when Im by my cutter. But I thought you had to look up in Device Manager where the COM port was used. I didn't see anything in Device Manager so when I installed Signblazer, I just clicked and designated "USB" as the port since I'll be using the USB connection. Don't know if this is right but I'll try it tomorrow and if anyone knows what im doing, let me know.- because I sure as hell don't

Is SignBlazer Elements availiable for Windows 7

Thanks everyone. Now for a Creation Vinyl Cutter question. I bought a Creation P Cut Cutter here about a year ago. Its the CT630 version 24" cutter. It doesn't seem like USCUTTER is selling many of them anymore. My XP computer got totally messed up so I am trying to get everything set up on my Windows 7 laptop. I dowloaded the (14). Cutting plotter CT USB Diver from the site here: http://pcut-cn.com/edownload/download.php and the text file lists the versions of Windows software it is compatiable with. Windows 7 isn't listed and nothing happened when I tried to download. Is there a way around this and/or is the info just not updated? Has anyone seen updated drivers for Windows? I am hoping.
  13. Does anyone know if SignBlazer Elements works for Windows 7? Thanks -Eric
