trying to figure out what font is close to these numbers

thanks guys, I got it :-)...
  18. Hey guys I've looked all over for a font that's close to the numbers in the picture but I can't seem to find one. I've searched pointy, pointed, gothic, celtic, curvy (and that was fun lol) and even lightning bolt numbers but Im at my wits end. If anyone can point me in the right direction Id appreciate it, thanks in advance... cool numbers.bmp
  19. I need help separating the individual parts in a AI vector I have. I use LXI expert software, I can open and cut AI files but it won't let me "ungroup" the individual parts in the file like I can with an EPS file. I tried to attach the file but it's to big. Thanks in advance for the help...
  20. After separating the pieces of the file I was able to cut out my decals. Of course they weren't correctly sized as I was told but I was able to work with it and get what I wanted done. I was able to make the spider webs pretty close and it didn't look right so I added the hanging spiders to fill up some more of the fender...
  21. Wild, the problem I was running into was there were 2 mask layers. I unmasked it before asking for help on here but there was another for the top section of the AI file. Once I unmasked it I was able to go in and pick separate pieces to cut. When I got my cutter they told me the LXI was made by flexi sign and I've heard they were good so I was hopeful it would work...
  22. Hey guys, after several of you guys trying to help me I did the unthinkable. I emailed product support and they sent me this. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly. I'm posting it incase any other newbie runs into the same issue. Thanks to all of you who helped me out... Ed, Adobe often saves page information with the graphic file. This is interpreted by LXI as a Mask Layer. So to edit the elements of the graphic, select it, go into the Arrange menu and use the "Unmask" option. This will usually result with a black rectangle covering the graphic. When this happens, use the select tool to deselect the artwork ( click on the empty white area of the design screen), then select the black rectangle and delete it. You should now be able to select and edit the individual pieces of your graphic.

    rope infinity

Hey guys, I have someone wanting a rope infinity decal for her boat, I've searched all over the web but can't find anything. She wants one of those saying "I will not sink", she sent me a pic of it but I haven't been able to clean it up enough to turn it into a vector so I can cut it. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance...
  24. I compressed it but that wasn't enough to get it to fit I tried compressing it but it wasn't enough to get it to upload. I can email it to you if you want?

    Newbie from Illinois

Hello everyone, My name is Ed, I'm a newbie to this so please bare with me if I ask a dumb question or 2. I recently finished my second contract with the Army, 9 years was enough for me so I needed to find something to do in my down time while finding myself a new job. I just got my plotter last month and have been playing with it since. It's nothing fancy a Vinyl Express R series II 31" with the Lxi software. Actually the only reason I got it was because I got tired of waiting on the local shop here to make me some decals for my quad, 4 months later and they still haven't gotten back to me on them so I made my own lol. I'm not planning on trying to make some super huge business out of this but I have made enough back to cover what I've spent on it already so I can't complain too much...
