  1. Yes. Figured out that the connection is bad so it must be getting interupted when sending the data. I've purchased a serial to usb cable but can't get the cutter to communicate with SCAL. It shows up in the list of COM ports. US Cutter tech support is useless.
  2. My LaserPoint stops cutting during a cut session. Sending artwork through with SCAL3 pro. SCAL says all info is sent to cutter, shortly after it stops cutting.
  3. Figured it out. There was a broken wire that had to be soldered.
  4. Yeah, it's free as can be. Moves smooth.
  5. Everything else is working fine. The blade holder travels back and forth, but it just stopped moving up and down, hence, not cutting. Any advice on what to check to possibly get this thing going on my own? Thanks in advance.
