She's not pretty, but she's functional. After some help finding some core plugs, I built this using some scraps I had lying around.

Thanks Pshawny. Just sent over a pm. Louis & Clarke, I may need to build this exact one.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm still looking for a solution like the one Tyler posted. Can you tell me where you got the plastic cores that are in the end of the tape? Any roll of Oracal or transfer tape I've bought doesn't come with them.

Hi, I'm trying to build my own tape applicator that I can clamp onto the end of a table. I have a few ideas on how to build one, but what I really need to track down are the plastic end caps that I can stick in the ends of the tape roll for a dowel to slide through. Does anyone know where I can find these? Or have any other suggestions on how to build one? I like the idea of a table mounted one, and don't want to spend the money on one from uscutter. Thanks!

skeeter...I'm yet to try it, but will investigate. Thanks

I'm connected through USB, but for whatever reason the only luck I had in the past was selecting a com port while using a USB cable. When I select the USB option, nothing happens. When I select a com port, production manager says it's cutting, but nothing happens.

Thanks for the responses...I'll keep looking for a solution.

Hi everyone, I realize the software I'm using is really old, but since I have the newest version of illustrator, I only need to use my sign software to communicate with my plotter. I use Flexi starter 8.6 and just upgraded to windows 8. Up until the upgrade everything was working how it should, but now the plotter won't cut. I have all the necessary drivers installed but am now thinking that this version of Flexi isn't supported in windows 8. Am i correct in thinking that? If that is not the case, does anyone know the correct settings to assign in production manager? I've attached a screen shot of what I see. Thanks

I've never seen of this before, any idea if this can withstand outside use at all? Is the backing any thicker than what normally comes with a normal roll of vinyl? Curious how well grommets would hold up on the material. Thanks
-
Do you offer any discounts depending on quantity?

Hello Everyone, I'm in need of some instruction on where to find 6' black banners that are already hemmed and have grommets in. Potentially wholesale for bulk buying. I've ordered some from USCutter in the past and was not happy with the quality and the way they were shipped. I also not sure on which type to buy. The banners will primarily be displayed outdoors during the winter. My first guess is 18oz, but any suggesstions? Also, help on pricing would be greatly appreciated. The content will include one large white decal taking up the whole banner and only on one side. Thanks.

I appreciate it. I guess my initial thought of about $150 total was a bit to low. Thanks -

I am not installing. When I go up to the store, it will already be there. The sign box is being built and delivered with all new materials. I already bought an oracal outdoor cast. Thanks -Jon -
Hey everyone, I'm in the process of making a rather large sign for a client and not to sure what to charge. I've attached a picture to give you an idea of what I need to make. This is geteting applied to white lexan I believe. Dimensions are as follows. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dimensions: "Wicked Sharp" 72" X 16" "Ski & Sport" 60" X 4" "Telephone" 46" X 4" "Ski/Board/Skate/Golf" 69" X 2.5"
