I decided that in light of suicide squad in theatres, I would design a new vinyl. Here is how it turned out.

The leading is spot on and this typography.

What kind of pressure are you using on the walk tomorrow and do you have an insert that keeps the temperature up when you sublimate?

I want to learn how to do wraps. Some day.....

Okay, there has got to be an easier way... This is an 8 layer vinyl I'm trying to peice together, I'm using a light box, and I'm trying to use alignment marks. Any one else do anything this crazy?

I think I have a winner.
-
No problems there.

As you can see, I'm not much for the easy approach lol. I enjoy the challenge.

Aaaaah thank you so very much lol

I have the illustrator file for the design. I would be more than happy to share guys! I enjoy designing it.

So I created a design for HTV. I have a customer that wants me to cut the design for him, and send it to him so that he can take it elsewhere to have it put on a shirt. What should I do. I think I should be the one making the money for the shirt sale as well as the design. Has anyone else had experience with this?

Thanks for the advice guys! I love this forum!

I came up with the design, and this guy wants me to cut it and send it to him to take somewhere else to get it put on a shirt. I told him that I could not do that. What movie is this from? That was hysterical.

So, I was sitting at home yesterday, and I got a call. This lady got a new car and she had to have her logo on it right away. It could not wait until Monday. Three other vinyl shops in town, no one would design her logo because it is not something that was already in their system. It wasn't a pre fabricated picture to just put in the logo. Any ways I got the job, I spent maybe 20 minutes designing, and getting the work approved. Here is the end result. I think it turned out real good. Another satisfied customer for Webb Creative Arts

I'll have to ask her if she needs a shirt. I hope to get more of these jobs.

The sticker looks amazing! Think of it as an honor to create this commemorating this fire fighter. This looks amazing!

So this has been working out real well, I got $1000 down on the job, each van I'm doing for roughly $450 each, so far I have two vans and a pickup done. Everything is turning out great so far...

So I have been chosen to do a huge job. I'm talking design a logo, create an ad, design business cards, create 4-4'x8' banners, and complete 8 full size vans and two trucks. What should I charge, I want to make money, but I want return customers. Here is progress so far on one van. I did the install in 1.5 hours for this vinyl.

Welcome from Nebraska land!

my guess would be adobe illustrator, that is how I do it, I use the pen tool, follow what I think the lines should be like, and import my illustrator file into SCAL Pro

I think what separates me from the other people in my town, is the ability to actually design what other people want vs pick a picture from the stock disk that I have in my computer. I would much rather design an original design, than cut someone into work that someone else designed.
