So , on another forum im part of , the question came up " what psi are each of the numbers on the dial"? Nobody could figure out what the conversion was till i contacted a Tech at Stahls. So for every dial number 1-9 on hotronix press is 10 psi. 1 = 10 psi 2= 20 psi 3=30 and so on.... The reason this came up was someone had bought some material and the specs for pressing was in psi. And on hotronix they use #s 1-9. Hope this helps anyone that ever got curious or didnt know.

No problem...I think our cutter and a 60* blade would cut this fine even with a textured surface because you dont need such perfectly clean edges for a pistol etc application .but im guessing .Guess i will have to order some as well.

Definitely will get mixed opinions on this. I dont charge by the hour for install, I go buy the job. For removal of something is the same but i do a test area and that gives me a better idea as well to let me know if it will be an easy or difficult removal.

So after checking out the file and talking with Newtovinyl on the phone .It has been found that there is a hidden image you couldnt see in vm even in wireframe view, Which is causing the issue for newtovinyl in Vm. Still trying to figure out why its doing this but When i open the file in VM it was showing 3 visible colors and 1 you cant see. the 3rd color was found by luck. But in Ai CC there is actually 4 different colors. Anyone have a thought on this strange ordeal.In the image below, Newtovinyl only sees the black and red in Vm . There is only supposed to be the Black and the Red colors. The others dont show up in Vm. The one color we found by luck was a sliver of white that was in the S in the pirates in Vm .But in Vm its not showing the Grey or the blue ( which is what i made for reference only for you guys to see..This is their file sent to me. @cardudenc ?.

Im very curious on this now ... waiting ..... Have you tried doing a hand cut with it like when you first set your blade depth?

One thing to remember is to make sure your colors are grouped together, ( well at least for me .I use Scalps4pro) and i have all colors in their own group that way i know what im cutting and not cutting something that doesnt belong.Its just my way of doing it.

Well i opened up the image in Ai and what i seen and found was possible extra cut paths unless those are supposed to be white but im not sure . Unless im not understanding what your trying to do with it. But here is a screen shot of the 3 colors separated and grouped and you notice the images selected in the middle around the grey area? These are extra cuts paths that i would remove if they are not supposed to be there, But like i said ,im not sure what your final outcome of cutting is supposed to be until i get more info . what can i use to remove the coating protectant that is on on 100% poly

So i have a design that is going on a 100% poly jacket and im using siser glitter for the center design and siser stretch for the lettering around it, MY question is how would i go about pressing these on without ruining the other with different pressure and heat settings? Glitter i believe needed to be pressed at 320 for 20 secs ( im just guessing right now for example) and siser stretch needs to be at 305 for 12-15 seconds. see image for example.Not scaled to true size.. I am a decal supplier for a local jeep group and someone happen to jump in and try and sell an image i know they didnt create and they are claiming they did, it is a skull with pistons like a gas mask with the word jeep on the mouth. how can i look up who the real creator is or is thing open for grabs.? I see many people selling it everywhere which i know is possibly not legit. Its against the group policy for someone to sell in the group since i joined last year.

Thank you .I contacted Augusta and they have closed down there Tech/Info dept and design dept.All they could tell me was ,whatever is posted on the website is all they know and nothing more.They cant give anymore info than what is listed.Not even if they were coated or not.So they are basically selling something with no important info ..
