I don't use this thing all the time, in fact I haven't used it in months. I only bought it to make yard signs for myself and the occasional sticker for my kids. I went to use it the other day and it wouldn't even print a simple 24"x2.5" name. I was putting the letters where ever it felt like. I tried a couple of times and instead of getting too upset I just stopped using. Now fast forward to this morning, it won't print anything. When you go to the cut screen and hit cut, it does nothing. The little green bar goes about 1/8 to 1/4 inch and just sits there for ever. I tried to remove and reload the drivers and also update the program. But still nothing. This thing is only about 6-7 months old. I probably haven't even cut 20' of vinyl yet? Very aggravating. Something supposed to be so simple is turning into such a headache. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to express them. Thank You Mike

the part came in. I think I have to order another one, it said it supported windows 8. But no. Now I have to order another one that will work. Anyone else had this problem before? Mike

Im using the cutting software that came with the machine. Sure Cuts a Lot. I know its not an awesome program, but I think it works ok. I am going to try cutting less at a time a see what happens? (although probably won't be until later, i have to work) the keyspan allows me to use the supplied USB cord with the serial port? Thats better? Just curious, what other software will work with this machine? Mike

i installed the supplied ground wire(just now), turned the cutter off then back on and started to cut some letters. It worked fine but when it got the last set of letters it made a cut across the entire sheet and then started to cut perpendicular to the existing letters. Across the existing letters. I was using it yesterday and i didn't have this problem but now all the sudden it started doing this. The program is constantly freezing up as well. This is getting agravating. I dont know if this has anything to do with it but I'm trying to cut multiple stickers at the same time. I made one and then just merged it together and made duplicates. The sticker consists of a row of letters then a small block divider then another row of letters. Pretty basic, at least thats what i thought. I bought this thing to make my own signs and vinyl graphics for my business. Maybe I should have bought another one? Mike

It will cut out a row of letters then it will go at a 90 degree angle and start cutting the next set of letters. right over the set it just cut. I just purchased the cutter. I did a few text cuts and it worked fine, now its doing all kinds of funny stuff. One time it totally didn't cut out a letter 4 times in a row. Maybe i have done something wrong? Or maybe I didn't set something up properly? Its a litte frustrating to say the least. Hopefully that makes sense to someone?? Mike
