I got a bit of Reflective Stahls HTV. It works good as far as I can tell but it has another film on the glue side. You either have to peel it off first before cutting or use a bit more force and weed it twice basicly. What is it for? Can you just peel it off in advance?

Yes, I read that before and have cut a bunch since posting, it doesn't do anything to the blade at all. It is so thin you can't tell it's there and no extra pressure is needed.

Those "guides" were the first thing to go for me. (Different cutter,same marks) They were not even close to where they should of been. I cut my own alignment setup, now you can tell if they are right from 20' away.

What fonts are the hardest to cut cleanly? I was looking through many types and styles and noticed that some just look like they should be printed only. Or stay digital.

Main Tape perfect tear plus, Medium tack. Use it on 631 and Mactac 8900 with great results.

Embroidery machine?

Here is Scalp and VMP 4. You can set the tiles to any size or layout needed and make the overlap as big or little as required and even more with VMP 4. I would use paper to try any design for the first time. Could save a ton of vinyl if something isn't quite right.

Top right in documents box. Zoom-100% It should show up actual size when selected. Make sure the measurements are in (inches). There may be more settings that are cutter specific to check.

The vertical movement is part of how it works. It goes down to cut, and moves up so it can go side to side.

If you enlarge it to 100% what size does it say it is?
