I have always refused to do HTV on ribbed tank tops. How did that turn out? Maybe I should go ahead and give it a try.

I'm 100% Illustrator. I've tried others and don't care for them... not much point in it at this point though, once you know Illy - you're set. Def not cheap though. : / I have a Graphtec and cut out of Illy in "Graphtec Studio" and love, love, love that combo.

Type out your a-z. Make a copy of it. Take the original and change it to the font you want. Right click on it and choose "create outlines" repeat as needed. Once they are in 'outlines' you can group and ungroup them as needed - the process is so simple that I would not pre-stage them like this. Just type out what you want, when you need it, and then convert to outlines.

Cast > Calendered. I prefer Oracal, but have used a lot of Avery. Both fine products. I use 751 the majority of the time.

I have a surplus of coroplast, and have a couple of request for 'game day signs' and thought that may be a fit. Anyone make any game day signs ("GO TEAM" and the like) with coro? Is that a good fit? Any other materials good for this? I'd want to put vinyl on it.

Yes, you can cut 15", 24", and smaller. You will be fine with any rolls you already have. FWIW, I have a Graphtec ce-60 and it is worth EVERY PENNY.

I use a piece of foam I cut off my kids bed topper... but yes, Hatter is spot on. I enjoy the finished product on the hats, but they can be stressful. ; )

I recently tried some AT60 because I had never tried low tack before. As an added bonus, it works pretty darn well with wet app too. Anyone else use AT60? Like it? Hate it? I like it more than 65 which has been my primary clear tape. I also use 4075 / 4076 when I need paper tape.

Gildan Ultra is my 1st choice for an economy shirt. Door #2 (at an additional cost) I also offer Hanes Beefy T's.

Curious if anyone has done an American flag with vinyl. I'm looking to do a couple flags with Oracal 751 and have a red choice I like.... but I'm up in the air on the Blue. I was thinking 537 / Deep blue. This is going on white max metal. Anyone got any inside info on a good shade of blue that would work great in this application?

You'll need pigment ink and the contour cutting feature on your machine as prerequisites. As for the paper, I use 3g Jet for darks and JPSS for lights (jet pro soft stretch). I get them from Coastal. I tested and did not care for the red grid / blue grid products. Once you test it, if you like it - consider purchasing a roll of whatever material you want vs. sheets. You have more flexibility to cut custom sizes (longer) so you don't have to rig up carrier sheets which imo is a pita.

I need to get back on trying to use paper on big stuff. I had some bad luck with bubbles and likely prematurely blamed the paper instead of the process. I have learned some patience since my last complete disaster / failure.

Sign is made out of maxmetal, and is 4' x 30'. Do I need to build a framework or would metal to metal roofing screws do the job? The sheets are like 30lbs for a 4x10' section.

My 24" stepper was great, unless I had a really long piece - say 6' or more. Tracking wasn't desirable on really long stuff. I would never own anything smaller than 24". Get a 24" with a stepper and then upgrade to a servo when you can.

I use a flexible lamp on my weeding table with a super bright cree bulb in it. You'll need to move your lamp around from time to time to get the best angle. It's all about the angle.

315 for 15, medium+ pressure. Done a thousand of them that way. As long as I can see the shirt texture through the vinyl.... it's good to go.

I have a basketball jersey that is reversible. one side is poly, other side is poly / spandex. I plan on using easy weed.... Anyone use standard easy weed on a poly / spandex blend before? I have used it on a cotton / spandex blend (hats) without issue.

Any chance anyone knows of something out there, 'of this likeness'?

I see that HT55 is pretty common for 631. I want to sell some (631) indoor wall graphics... I wonder if the customer base would rather paper or clear tape? Does any particular type of tape for this application stand out above the others? ....also, as an experiment - i layered some 651 on 631 and made some very large wall decals since I happened to have a surplus of 651 in the colors I needed. Some of these are actually falling, nightly, off the wall. Anyone ever experienced that? it's only 2 color decals. sheesh, I'da thought 631 was sticky enough to do the job. *put them up in 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom stays cooler overnight, and those decals have not budged. #2 bedroom gets way hotter, stupid zones!, and those decals fall off every night. : / ideas? (don't tell me to adjust my dampers... lol... I've been farting with them all fall / winter.)
