    Choosing a better transfer tape

I had same results with AT60, so I stopped using clear. After reading reviews on the AT65, decided to give it a try, releases much better with 651 vs the AT60.

    Choosing a better transfer tape

I bought a roll of this a few weeks ago and just used it this past weekend. Great stuff! Plan on phasing out most of my paper tapes in favor of the AT65. Keeping some paper for wet applications and such.

    found the opposite of sign$101

What really funny is another post 10 hours ago someone posted a picture of their shirt they ironed HTV on and after a wash it looks like garbage.. They don't understand that pressure is just as important as heat when it comes to HTV.

I saw that post today... Most post on that group are I'm pretty sure I've been close to getting banned there multiple times.

    Who rides Motorcycles

I ride a little. Pic from Jan `14, down to 4 bikes now, got rid of a few of them last year. My first race. Taking the Ducati out for a spin.
  7. I have 2 business asking me to make some decals for them. One is a really easy weed (15 seconds) 2.5"x6" single color, cut decal, wants 25 of them for now. The other is a little more tedious to weed (1 minute), 2"x7" single color, cut decal. wants 250 of them. Problem for me is both are friends of mine. The one that wants 250 of them always take care of me when I come to him needing parts (motorcycle race parts). I know my cost of material and have an estimate of how much time its going to take me but I have no idea what people usually pay for quantities like that. Thanks for any input!

    Pricing Help

Thanks, misread your statement about $700, thought you were charging $700 for a roll of 30" vinyl... $2.55 is roughly what my calculator was telling me to sell it for. Its hard for me to price stuff because I don't pay for service, there's very little I cant fix or do and if I cant do it I know someone that can. Thanks again!

    Pricing Help

I just want to know what others (people in the industry) would charge, this is a hobby for me. I don't put any value in my time because when I don't want to cut vinyl I don't, Its just what I enjoy doing right now.

    monitor calibration

I use one but I bought it for photo editing. Made a huge difference. If you really want a good set up you need to start with a good monitor.

Where do you get your garments?

Well you must be special, I registered with TSFsportswear but it makes you get approved... Just received this email. Guess I'll continue buying from Jiffy, no complaints with them, always get my shirts next day. No way I'm quitting my day job to do this full time either.

Not sure if it can be done.

    I see a Glock.
  19. USCutter is 100% taking care of me though, just received a return label and are going to send me out a new machine once that return label is scanned in by Fedex.
  20. I recently have been getting horrible cuts with my titan 2, its not finishing a complete cut and test cuts look like a heart beat monitor. I purchased a clean cut 60 degree blade as I do a ton of tiny littering and prefer the 60 degree blade to 45 for this kind of work. In SCALP I set the offset to .5mm with 1mm over cut and the cuts look better. I do my test cuts by using a triangle from the library of SCALP and putting a weeding box around it. In the bottom right corner of the triangles there's a slight slope. I tried offsets from .3-.6 with over cut on and off. .5 looks the best but it still has a slope. Purchased a new blade holder and tried it, does the same thing, has been oiled with 3-1 oil to keep it spinning smoothly. Tried 5 different 60 degree blades all do the same including the clean cut blade. Yes the holder is tight in the machine, blade just barley makes a mark onto the backing paper. Any ideas?
  21. So.... Still unhappy with some of my cuts I finally called CS instead of going through emails. See the R on the top vs the R on the bottom and the jog in the middle. Not to mention the horrible radius's. CS had me remove the right side cover to check the tension on the belt, asked me to tighten up on the belt and.... Broken tensioner bolt, feels good to not be crazy (for today at least).

    Help!!!

I just started doing HTV a few weeks ago and was running into this exact problem when it would cut the weeding box. I turned the pressure down and helped the issue. I also only run a 60 degree blade.
  23. Just did test cuts from .5-.58 in .01 increments. .57mm gives best results, sharp corners clean and a cut. Thanks for the help.
  24. Does anyone know the machines test cut offset? Anyone know if there's a master rest for the machine?
  25. Contacted support because I still couldn't get it cutting as accurate as before. Typed up a long detailed list of what I have tried and done and replaced. Response, make sure cutter settings are at .3mm offset and over cut is a 1mm... Responded back with picture of above test cuts, plus asking support person to please reread what I originally sent, luckily I saved a copy of what I sent to them in case something like this happened and I got the typical IT Crowd answer... Got a response a few hours later to try test cuts with the pen attachment. Seems like a brilliant way to check if its your blade holder or your machine. What do you know, this is what I got... Sent support this picture, figure I wont hear anything till Monday.
