    Cutting Strip that fits

Is this used to cut paper or card stock.
  2. Could be that your graphic isn's smooth. Take a look at the nodes and make sure your vector is smooth.
  3. Please keep in mind I'm not sitting in front of my computer so I'm going by memory. First its not called contour cut with this software. It’s called print and cut. To me a long while to figure that out. You need to select "CUT" from the menu up top. Then the window pops up, select "PRINT AND CUT". Just follow the instructions. If you haven’t calibrated your cutter now is the time to do it. Just follow the instructions. Always move the cutter via the software though and not manually on the cutter. after that, it will ask if you have printed out the item you want to cut yet. If not, print it from there. It will print the pic with the registration marks on it. You then load pic into cutter. Follow instructions to move laser to marks on the paper. Make sure you use the software to move the laser and not the controls on the cutter. Then hit cut. Waa, La! You should be in business. I always do a test run with paper and the pen. If you need more help just PM me and I can see what I can do. I'm still learning a lot about this stuff, but I'm picking it up pretty quick. Good luck!

    Laserpoint II cutting mat

I'm also interested in cutting small pieces as well. Also I want to cut paper/card stock. Is there a sticky mat like the smaller machines use to cut paper?

    Reg marks & clear tape

For those that want a cheap alternative to clear trasnfer tape should try GLAD PRESS-N-SEAL. I've used it with great success. http://www.amazon.com/Glad-Pressn-Seal-3-Pack/dp/B0025UV6JC

laserpoint II with sure cuts alot pro contour cutting help

I had the same issue with contour cutting. I’m using the Cut A Lot Pro 3 and the LaserPoint II. First it took me a while to even figure how to initiate the feature. I finally learned that in SCAL 3 PRO it’s called “PRINT AND CUT” not "CONTOUR CUTTING". After that it wouldn’t calibrate correctly or cut correctly when using the Print and Cut option. I finally got it to work though. I don’t know why it matters, but you need to make sure that you are using the software to move the cutter/laser to the registration marks during calibrating and cutting. I was doing it manually on the cutter during these steps. Even though I calibrated it, it would cut/draw off to the left almost like a shadow. Once I did it with the software controls it was right on. I know this is an old thread, but I hope this helps.
