My MH 721 Refine only will cut fine up until the carriage gets to the 9 inch incremental mark on the ruler. As it reaches the width of 9 inches it seems as if the pressure lets up and it stops cutting deep enough to make the cut. It only scratches the image on the surface of the vinyl. If I cut a small decal it is fine, but decals over 9 inches across won't cut after the 9th inch, just scratch.
I have the blade as low as it will go without cutting through the backing from 1-9, but still only scratches the surface after the 9th inch. Pressure also set to maximum 600.
