Looking to try to recreate the side graphics like this car. I have Flexi and didn't know if there was a way or if it would need to be drawn and scanned. Any advice would be appreciated.

Make reference shapes off to the sides in each color. Use clear tape and match the shapes up ... thats how I do it and it works everytime.

Bought my Copam 2500 without a stand and with a baby on the way my office is being relocated for use of a nursery. The new office will be in the front living room and would rather not have the plotter sitting on a coffee table. If anyone has one or knows where I can get one please let me know. Thanks!

NEVERMIND ... figured it out.

OK all ... I dont know if its me not thinking right since I can barely keep my eyes open or what. Im importing my company logo in .eps format into ve lxi 7.5 as i have a million times before to cut. BUT for some reason theres this big box around it when I try to add an outline. Ive tried grouping and ungrouping, converting, vectorizing ... now I cant seem to remember what the heck ive done every last time ive done this. Anyone got any idea what Im even talking about or am I too tired to make any sense too?!?!

Wondering how I make an outline and drop shaow of the same color but one cut piece. Not a cut of the outline and then a cut of the drop... see what I mean? I am using Lxi 7.5 also ...

Im having some trouble with this ... I dont know if its because he shaded the drawing or what. Any ideas?

Did you use a wet app for the late model? I did some large vinyl lettering the other day, I'm sure it was mostly my inexperience, but couldnt get it to lay perfect. If so, what fluid?

I have a logo for a drummer to put on his bass drum heads. He drew it all up, probably the most meticulous drawer I've ever met! I was planning on scanning it and vectorizing so I could cut it. He shaded the logo so when I try to vectorize it's a pain and doesn't entirely work. I was wondering if anyone has advice on how to deal with a shaded scanned image. I'm still relatively new at this but have vectorized simple b&w images with success. I'm at work right now and don't have access to the scan, but if it will make it easier to see what I'm talking about I will post that when I get home. Thanks!

Like the title says im looking at buying a used plotter. The plotter is a Copam 2500. The seller is located on the other side of the country and i want to ask the best and most useful questions before i purchase it. This will be my first plotter purchase too so I have limited knowledge but we all gotta start somewhere. Please help me out with some great questions I can ask. Thanks, Matt.
