pricing help needed, please

Add up all the time that it took...or should have taken for you to discuss the job with the client, design and to make the graphics, multiply that by your hourly rate. Double your material costs, add that to the labor time and you have the price for the graphics. How long do you think it should take to apply the graphics if you knew what you were doing? Multiply that by your hourly rate. Add your graphic cost to your install cost and that would be my price. -
What would you charge?

$150 for art and install? This truck is going to be advertising for his business for years and you are going to charge 1/4 of what I paid for a small one color yellow page ad. last year. I agree with Core, I get $120 for design, cut and install for one color/2 doors. For all the colors on your picture I would be in the $250-$300 range. -
I don't know about sticking them to glass but if I was cutting and applying that image to a trucks doors I'd be in the $200 range. Why so much less to go on glass? I find it interesting how much our prices change depending on where we apply the graphics. What would you charge to put that on corro...$15 ea.?

Need a lot more info than that. How long is it going to take you to create the art, cut and weed the vinyl, premask and pack. What is your costs? -
$83.00 pair printed on 3651, laminated and applied to magnum magnetic.

If it was easy, we all would have already done it ourselves. I appreciate your efforts. Ken

Can you make it with a material markup percent that the user can input? Most of my quotes use the 2X markup but if I'm doing a large order I may use a smaller markup percent. Ken

Material cost X 2. That's my usual material markup. For most of my prices I double my material costs and then charge an hourly rate for the time I estilmate the total job will take. It would also be great to be able to input different values for different tasks. I.E. artwork $60.00 hr. Application $45.00 hr. etc. Ken

I would like to see a imput for setup (artwork, loading machine with vinyl etc). I usually price my decals by not only the cost of materials but also time required to setup, cut, weed and apply app. tape. Example uses 1 square foot of vinyl at $5.00 per square and a $40.00 hr shop charge. Prepair file to cut .1 cut .1 weed .1 premask .1 Total .4 x $40hr= $16.00 Material cost X2 $10.00 Total $26.00
