I just said screw it and ordered the Titan 3 68". I will probably never need that much area but it gives me the option. The price was good as well. -

Well I have rolls of 30" vinyl and I either have to go with the LaserPoint to use what I have, or downsize to a Titan 2 or 3. I don't have a need for a 68" cutter the more I think about it. It's a shame since that 68" is the best value as said before. -

Yeah, looks like the Titan 3 is a good way to go. Wonder what happened to the 53" Titan 3? Oh, and they want $234 to ship from uscutter.com! Let's see, eBay has it for $1595 with free shipping. Sheesh. -
I have a 53" SC that recently stopped receiving data. Looking for an upgrade and the choices to handle 30" vinyl are very slim: LaserPoint II 31.5", 50" (is it really an upgrade? Is that 31.5" cutting material width?) Graphtec CE6000 48" ($3400) Titan 3 68" ($1900 and definitely don't need anything that wide!) Mimaki CG-SR III 42", $2700 ..and on. So to cut 30" material and not have a value cutter, the next choice is a 68", $1900 cutter? Bummer.

I've been cutting vinyl for a few years and was looking into being able to print multi-color onto vinyl decals. Any good suggestions out there?

Version 3.052 Just recently ran into an issue where SCALP will no longer auto trace images. When selecting AutoTrace and then browsing to the image nothing shows up in the preview window and hitting OK gives "an error occurred while trying to autotrace the image" message. Any ideas?

Good news: Going back to the older version fixed all the cutting issues. I haven't had a miscut since... Bad news: Any design that was made under the new version (3.056) doesn't open under the old version (3.052) Oh well.

I recently started having this problem as well. Then I saw the comment about using an older version of SCALP... Originally I was using 3.052 but then in the last week I updated to 3.055 then 3.056. Hmmm. Anyhow, I'm back on 3.052 and I'm going to cut an image that previously was giving me issues...
