Here is a site with lots of free dogs for those that have been requesting them. http://members.fortunecity.com/arthurreeve/dogsbw.htm

I don't know if this site has been brought up before http://vectormagic.stanford.edu/ You can upload you image and vectorize it on-line then download the eps or svg file that was created. I tried a couple of quick gif files and it seemed to work. Requires Flash 9 plugin to be installed in your browser. Edit: Deleted invalid references to pop up windows on this site.

Are you wanting something like text inside a hollow circle (a circle that is just an outline). Or do you want a solid round piece of vinyl with the text cut out of it? Banner is right about the colors being the same.
-
Select your text or object Effects > Contour from the top menu bar A window will open on the side and you can select how much offset you want. You also need to select the direction that you want the contour to go. Inside or outside or center. I usually use outside. After you get it looking the way you want: Select the the contoured group then Actions > Break Contour Group Apart from the top menu You will now have 2 separate objects that you can color and trim or whatever you want to do with them.

Explain a bit more about what you are asking... or upload an example file.

In Coreldraw, Arrange>Convert to Curves

This is a font. You have to install it in windows. Download the ttf file, drag it to your windowsfonts folder to install it. Then select the font in your image program and type the letter that corresponds with the flame picture you want. The letter will be the image instead of actual text. Then you want to convert the text to curves and you can use it like any other graphic.

State of the Gemlin The Gremlin is alive and doing very well. The society would like to thank the many supporters on this forum for the newfound rise in Gremlin awareness. Awareness leads to preservation which leads to immortality! The Gremlin lives, long live the Gremlin! All hail AMC

That is funny. Probably was Joe

Maybe like this

Yeah the kid needs a change. It looks like he is hanging by his wrists from the back door. There should be some not so generic kid graphics in someone's collection here. How about a jumping alien? 11.EPS 11.EPS

Joe, you should always have the gremlin clean, you could rent it out to the spring breakers. They could probably sleep 8 in that baby.

I believe this was the actual turning point of this thread. It was pretty much all down hill from that point on.

My tanks... I think I posted these before. I did the tanks in one color because the students tend to beat the crap out them and this way they are easy to replace. I tried to do the scooters in the background too but I couldn't get the vinyl to stick at all. Something funky about that plastic I guess.

I try to keep my pages short and put links on top and bottom. That way one of the menu's are usually visible or you are never far from one. No one wants to scroll through a long page. Some sites I put links down the side. I never use frames. I started with frontpage, I have Dream Weaver now but haven't really had time to learn it yet. To me, it looks more difficult than frontpage but that was just my first impression, I haven't really studied it yet.

I'm a scuba instructor when I have time to teach. More fun than the day job but not as profitable. Maybe I can retire to Puerto Rico and be a scuba bum... I'll live in to Joe's Gremlin.

I thought if I left for a while the gremlin would die. I guess it is immortal. Just working all hours day and night. I just hate it when work interferes with fun.
-
Putting in 70 - 80 hours a week at the day job plus it is travel season and everyone wants to be scuba trained before they head out on their spring break trip. I'd be getting freakin' rich if uncle sam wasn't watching me.

I still try to keep my workspace at 800px wide or a little less. It is amazing how many people still use 800x600 or even less.
-
haumana.. what browser are you using? I get about the same results that I posted above with IE but there is a vertical scroll bar for the link bar using IE.

Gremlin It just won't die

I've been in a work coma for the past 3 weeks... I REALLY need a drink... OH, nevermind... I have one right here.

OK, I don't mean to be harsh here, just telling you my experience. This is your business and probably the first and maybe the only contact you will have with a lot of clients so, I suspect you would rather hear the truth than have everyone just tell you it looks awesome. You have a good start. First thing I notice is the link bar across the top are off the page. At 1024x768 I only see the "Co" in Contact. there isn't a vertical scroll bar to move the page over to see the rest. Vertical scroll bars are really bad design but it is worse to not have it and need it. I don't like frames either but that is a personal opinion, others may love them. I like your logo design but it looks a bit jagged, like it needs to be resampled after you resized it. Products and services aren't linked to anything, but you probably know that. Gallery page is again off the page to the right but at least there is a vertical scroll bar on this page I guess the hidden link is the skull in the jester cap?... I like that logo a lot. I have mixed feelings about the watermark background on the pages. It's ok but a little distracting to me and again a bit jagged. On your form: you might want to specify what type of file you need to be uploaded, you will get all kinds of garbage if you don't. Style? I didn't know what that was supposed to be. The image at the bottom of the form is missing, it just says home with the broken image symbol Form page has a vertical scroll bar that doesn't appear to be necessary if you adjusted some of your tables. Submitted the form and got this: Not Found The requested URL /cgi-bin/FormMail.cgi was not found on this server. Apache Server at www.aardvarkengineering.com Port 80 I am using Firefox browser, 1024x768 resolution for your records. IE might get different results but you need your site to support every browser as much as possible.

I guess the main site is hidden too. What is the link?
