The thing you need to be careful of, when tinting headlights and such. The headlight is plastic and it does expand and contract under heat and cold. Some of the headlight films are 30mil thick, and this will prevent the contraction and expansion; in-which will eventually spiderweb crack the lens

OK So I am new to this used Cutter/Plotter. I finally got the blade to start in right position, but now it rips the paper. I have the pressure at 74, speed at 20 and using 2mil vinyl. The blade is barely sticking out. Is the blade dull or to much pressure?

I have come to the conclusion that the blade is dead. If I take it off and try and cut by hand, it is very difficult. The previous owner, had problems with it too. That is why they gave it to me Thanks for your help Have you asked the previous owner if he had this problem?? I am not familiar with the Pcut but if it has a removeable blade hoder like my Graphtec, take it out and try cutting some vinyl by hand with it (just use a scrap taped to your weeding table ) ..If you cannot get it to cut by hand at the proper depth something is wrong with the blade or blade holder.. gotta have a sharp blade, no gunk gumming it up, blade has to rotate easily..(Watch out a good blade is SHARP !!).. If you can make decent cuts thru just the vinyl and not cutting the backing paper, install the blade holder and play around with your pressure settings...Good luck!

OK so I have been messing with pressure. 60 does not cut it 62 cuts thru all of it (vinyl and paper backing) What next?

OK, I was just given this Cutter/Plotter and I can not figure it out. > 1) If I use SIGNCUT PRODUCTIVITY PRO the head goes to the right and hits Kill button. I turn on, push the on-line button and the X and Y come up. I set the vinyl 1inch from the right side and cutter on the edge of vinyl, push center button, push on-line. Then when I go to cut image it goes to the right and hits Kill Button (15 times now) Image is only 5inch and vinyl is 24. Also, I can not change size of image. Is this just a cutter program and nothing else? 2) If I use WINPCSIGN Basic, I can not set to Plotter. I am on COM6, it only goes to COM4 3) If I use WINPCSIGN Pro, demo version, I can set the Plotter, but since I am on DEMO it will not cut project it only cuts out the words DEMO
