Made 2 registration marks up top and lined them up, not so easy to do with normal application tape. I should order my clear app tape soon... got another band interested in the same work...

You need to specify what settings you are printing at, I have modified drivers for my workforce 1100 and can print at the highest quality on that exact same vinyl (trimmed to fit into the printer) and cant see any dots from printing

What transfer material do you all recommend for doing tshirts, White image on black Gildan 100% cotton. I got the sample of SISER EasyWeed and it was rather easy to use with my very old Roach heat press. I noticed that signwarehouse carries a lot of different materials but I have only tried the siser easyweed.

Alright I got my Cobra 1100 today, along with the Mactac sample and printed up some stickers for a local band. Sealed them with some frog juice and they are amazing, they are thicker and flexible, they dont tear and I assume are waterproof. I'll take some photos of them tomorrow to show you all. Also my samples of Sihl's stuff is here, but not what I wanted... I'm assuming the mactac stuff is the same as sihl so yea.

Need Suggestion
pyrophire replied to VendettaVinyl's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
the sample i just got is thicker than standard vinyl so i dont think it will conform properly, especially after over laminate or roll on sealer -
There is always a first.

If you use signcut, it lets you print out a sample of what it will look like, you can specify the sizes in the provided boxes along with materials being used -
oh yea its not locking down so its only about 1/3rd the pressure so it wont bind into the material just sit on top, once it dries out it will flake

Get the affordable MH Refine series, they are a great learning cutter, get ahold of a copy of illustrator or use something similar with signcut. I have the 36" but I only use 24" vinyl, so a 24" cutter will be fine. Right now im using 3M because its what my local supplier has but I will be switching over to Oracal 651, it will be perfect what you need it for. You say you will only be doing 3 or 4 cars, but you will get the hang of it and realize you can do a lot of work I got my cutter on ebay for $330 from uscutter's account, $100 less than listed on the site so I'm sure you can find a good price.

you need to specify exactly what you need to edit, maybe show an example of the image or something...
-
Or just learn the pen tool, it is amazing when you get the hang of it. Sometimes its even easier to redraw it than try to live trace or vector trace it.

Not empty, the numbers are white

Was looking for a paper cutter on OfficeDepots site and ran into this little thing: http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/371360/Pacon-All-In-One-Paper-Cutter/ I think that would work well for application tape... what do you all think?

Vinyl Pricer
pyrophire replied to DeviantGeek's topic in Business Practices, Sales and Pricing, etc.
I think maybe a x1.1, x1.2, x1.3, etc would be a way to do that, based on complexity -
Think about it in the other direction, order a 36 or 42 inch roll an cut them in 12 inch strips, that way you have 12x36 inch pieces to feed through

Alright, ill put in my order later tonight. I just ordered 2 cans of frog juice as well, spray type.
