You should have no problems. There is heat transfer material made for nylon. I recently did some camera straps, poly though. Try Thermo Flex Xtra

I picked up a used Hopkins 6 color 4 station. It needs some work to get all heads working but I've only been doing 1-3 color jobs so problems with that. My experience is 90% of my jobs have been 1 color or 2 color… mainly because I do mostly sports apparel. So I would not discount a good 4 color with 4 station. FYI I'm going to post a 2 color R Jennings in the classified section.

I used knifeless tape to outline the old faded stripes and just laid vinyl right over the old ones, pulled the knifeless string and presto. The owner felt like the value went up about $20k, thats a happy customer.

Thanks for prompt feedback. When I get one, I'll make sure to do the same.

Got my new ce6000 working great just 1 question
xpfguy replied to paz21paz's topic in GraphTec Cutting Plotter Discussion
I have CE5000 and my advance is set on 2" By the time it advances at the end of a cut this puts the cut side of the vinyl about .25" past the "cut off" space on the machine. -
I have a ? about the blasting cabinet. I know a few people that have those and somehow dust or media escapes from them like crazy and was dusting everything they had in the same room/space. I know one of them is even running an exhaust on it when they run it. Are you having this issue? If yes or no what brand cabinet do you have?

I forgot about making this, but my prior comment reminded me. This is a video of my "self taught" shirt gfx line up method. I don't do this anymore, but it worked great!

Great job, my "almost first shirt order" will never be forgotten either. I made a few parent shirts as my first sale. I few weeks later a guy says, "you make shirts?" sure i replied. what do you want? Well I need 75 large 40 XL 20 M and 20 2X in blue and same in white and do you do hoodies and jackets?….. As I'm writing this down pretending I do it all the time, I'm thinking @# %@ 2#2 @#$@3!!!!!" That was a ton of weeding Glad I have a screen press now It will happen to you to… just do it! you'll be fine.

Major Issues - Any help appreciated!

Teflon slip-ons are worth the money. Magnet idea is good to. -
Oh, I thought it was a technical term of the trade. I guess it is because that's what I said after it was done. Had no idea if it would look good or be getting pulled right back off. Thanks for all the compliments.

Watch video on how to start the tape and get the string out to start your cut the correct way. Very important. Very easy just watch the videos on YouTube.

I get it from Hexis, if you don't have an account I would be happy to resell it to you.

I have never used 60° blade on anything except reflective and rhinestone media, I use 45°. Like they said though, get on the pressure/depth because the backing is more forgiving than typical vinyl backings. -
printed 3M reflective

Just started my 4th year as llc, .5 year prior to that, so about 4.5 Look forward to meeting you, Jason
