Need help matching a vinyl color to a CMYK value
Nu Image replied to Nu Image's topic in General discussion
I finally found my Fellers book. So i just converted them to pantone and I guess I'll just get as close as I can. Thanks for the help. -
Ok I need some help. I have a customer that has provided me a CMYK value and RGB value. But I need help finding a vinyl color that is closest. I usually use Oracal vinyl. But I will use something else if it close. I need a pantone guide but just haven't gotten one. If anyone has any input that would be great. Thanks in advance. The CMYK for one color is 10,100,80,20 and the RGB is 187,8,38 it's a red and the other CMYK is 0,20,100,0 and the RGB is 252,198,10 Thanks alot

Tried cutting film with a cutter a long time ago. Had some problems doing it and have never tried it again. I have just always cut by hand. I have always got my film directly from the mfg. it definitely takes practice and lots of patience.

Trying to figure out what this font is. Anyone have any ideas?

Whoops guys I had a typo on my post. I need small pieces four of them 6" x 8". Not 6' .

Does anyone here happen have some of the brushed aluminum dibond ? I am need of four 6'x8" blanks and didn't want to buy a whole sheet. Or anyone know where to buy the blanks at a reasonable price? Thanks

I have a client that is looking for about 120 signs that are 12" x 18" with just text on them. The signs need to be red with white lettering. They are wanting them to be plastic but somewhat durable. They will be outside from time to time. So they need to be able to be outside for a little while and not fade quickly. I was thinking of maybe silkscreen on poly blanks? Anyone do this or got ideas?

Anyone on here print corrugated yard signs?
Nu Image replied to Nu Image's topic in General discussion
Yea the more I think about it, you are right. I don't do too many yard signs. What is the ballpark going rate for something like that? -
Wondering if anyone on here does any printing on corrugated yard signs. Have a customer looking for some and was thinking if I could get them printed for a decent price it would be easier than using vinyl. They are looking at one color, two sides 18"x24". If anyone does let me know and I will contact you. Thank you

Ok revisted this problem. I am still having no luck. Signblazer says it's sending to cutter, but then when it's done the cutter doesn't do anything. I have been over and over the settings and nothing seems to help. I am lost at this point. Any Suggestions??

yes i have the correct cutter selected and then the output device is the keyspan in com 4
-
ok so I have signblazer loaded and wanted to give it a try. I bought the KEYSPAN USB serial adapter. Got it all set up and when I want it to cut, signblazer shows the little progress bar and acts like it is sending the info but the cutter does nothing. I am using a Summagraphics T1010 Plus cutter. I don't know if it's cause I am using windows 8 on this new computer? The drivers said they load okay. Any help would be appreciated, because I really want to get this new computer working with the cutter before too long. Thanks

That was supposed to be dynex

No slice it was not a key span. It was a dynes

ok, so i just got a new computer and thought i would load signblazer on it to give it a shot. I have never used SB before. I have summa T1010 plus cutter. I am running windows 8 on the new computer. I bought a usb to serial adapter from Best Buy to that I could hook the cutter up. But everytime I go to have the cutter cut, it says it is sending the job to the cutter then it just stops and nothing happens. I have went over and over the ports, and settings etc. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time Tony
